  Evan’s was a superb guide! So much interesting information and took us to some fabulous places. As we were staying in OIA we skipped that and had a chance to see much more of the island. We also left early and managed to get a sunrise experience which was amazing!!

  Because of the weather, our itinerary had changed, and we quickly had to reschedule this trip for another day. Mike was our guide and driver. He quickly and effortlessly took us around the entire island. He knew exactly which side streets to cross to quickly get to point of interest. We saw the entire island- even went to the top of the mountain. We then stopped by Santos Winery for a relaxing finish. Other notes not related to the tour company: You meet your driver at the top of the mountain. You cannot purchase cable car tickets in advance, so get off the ship early. Despite this, we waited 40 minutes in line to reach the top. Coming back down, everyone is trying to maximize their time, so the cable cars get overwhelmed at the same time, and the line can be 1-2 hours long. We decided to walk down the steps, which took 40 minutes. We are in our 50's. You can opt for the Donkey ride down ~10 euros, which can take only 12 min. The steps going down are very slippery from fine dust on worn smooth stones. I slipped twice despite being cautious. Luckily, I did not fall to the ground but did pull a back muscle. If you don't want to take the risk of falling, then take the donkey or arrive early at the cable cars for the downward descent. What a great island. I would love to visit and actually stay on the island in the future. Thank you Mike for an outstanding time in Santorini!!
