We hiked with our guide,Sang, a local woman who, with her never ending positive energy can tell everything about the villages and the surroundings in very good English. The landscape is really beautiful and the tour was great!

The trek was fantastic. Say was a fantastic guide, very relaxed and knowledgeable. At first the title "easy" of the tour didn't seem appealing, but it was great because we got to learn from other areas of Sapa and we learned a lot about the traditional people from the villages, the way they live and work. The scenery was also amazing.

Very cool trekking with our violence eye guide Lee. Was very doable for people with less condition. Got an explanation of local customs and breathtaking views seen.

Photos and words can’t express what a great experience this was! The views were breathtaking even in the fog and rain. We were so lucky to have Soso as our guide, she was amazing, had great English and her information on the history of the villages and Sapa was extremely insightful. This was a great tour with delicious, filling lunch included. We went through villages and farming areas that weren’t overpacked with tourists so we were very lucky. The walk wasn’t overly tough but there was a lot of mixed terrain, rocks, small paths and mud - be very careful if it is wet! If you are going to go during the wet season be prepared to get wet. Definitely be mindful of footwear choice, bring an umbrella, waterproof shoes or easy to clean shoes and/or maybe a poncho. Thanks again to Soso for making this an unforgettable and lovely day

May took us through the villages and tribes of Sapa. Stopping for lunch up in the hills for quite a feast. Landscape was breathtaking as were the hills!

Pang was our incredible guide. We heard the very best stories and information about her life as a Hmong ethnic minority woman. The scenery was as spectacular as her! We loved it all. Be aware though this is a full day tour and not an "easy" stroll.

Great trekking along the rice fields and several villages where different tribes live. Our local guide (Xay) had lots of information about the people, how they live and the area here. Fun to see the animals, know more about the rice and other agriculture/crops and how traditional clothing is made. Lunch that was included was very good! This was the easy trekking, which more applies to the types of roads/paths you walk on. In total it was still about 13kms, so something to keep in mind (the first part walking through Sapa town wasn't necessarily needed for the experience of this day in our opinion).

Soh was our guide and he is very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned quite a bit about local culture and life from him. The route we took through the farmlands was stunning. The lunch was delicious and fresh with a fantastic view. We ate rice with stir fried veggies and meat, fresh stir fried veggies and tofu braised with tomato. Two thumbs up

Let me begin by saying I am 61 years of age and trekking is the least of my interests. But, how can one come to Sapa and not trek? Because it was Tet, Chinese New Year, no one else signed up so it ended up being a private adventure. Sang, my guide, picked me up at my hotel and we were on our way. Sang was very patient, caring and guided me the entire journey. We walked at my speed and pace. Sang is not only a tour guide but a farmer herself and represents of one of Sapa's ethnic groups. I learned so much about the culture, visited 2 villages, and ate with the locals. It was truly a wonderful experience.
