The events held every year between December 7-17, the anniversary of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi's death, illuminate the spiritual world of thousands of guests from all over the world. The program begins with a recitation from the Quran, after a short mesnevi discussion it continues with and a Turkish Sufi music concert. Finally, a Mevlevi ceremony of whirling derwishes is performed. Total event duration is 2 hours.

3.00The event did not last very long, there were few guests and you could feel that it was just a tourist performance. The individual dancers were impressive and danced well, but I had imagined something more intense.

5.00Such a wonderful experience in the city of hearts. It was a milestone in our spiritual journey as a family. I was really excited for my 17 year old to show interest in understanding sufism, after witnessing such a mesmerising site.

5.00Beautiful ceremony from beginning to end. Our first time seeing Sema and it was a very spiritual experience. There was a speech followed by a concert followed by another talk and then the Sema. We are looking forward to coming back again! Dolash Konya City Tours was also very good at communicating as we needed to rearrange the venue.
