Follow the Serchio River and cycle along scenic country roads on the way to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa on this family-friendly self-guided tour.

This easy/intermediate journey starts in Lucca and follows secondary country roads all around the Monti Pisani. Cycle down 33 kilometers of dirt and asphalt roads with a trekking bike or an e-bike.

Bikes are fitted with a phone holder, making it easy to follow the GPS directions on the application. The journey to Pisa takes between 2 to 4 hours.

After approximately 20 kilometers, stop at San Giuliano Terme for a refreshing drink in the charming central square in front of the Spa. The itinerary ends in Piazza dei Miracoli, in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Return to Lucca on a direct route by bike or on a 25-minute train ride. The bikes fit easily into the train's storage wagons and train tickets can be purchased in advance from the local partner.

Very comfortable bikes. Come with everything you need. Very kind to explain the round trip. Pisa magnificent. The return journey is shorter than the outward but equally interesting. Few people on the streets on Sundays.

This was a highlight of our holiday. The electric bikes were easy to use and the route was really well planned. We went through some beautiful countryside before arriving in Pisa.

Ride from Lucca to Pisa was great. About 20 miles each way. E-bike shop very friendly and helpful. GPS app we loaded made extremely easy to find route. Highly recommend!

We had to abandon tour after 5 minutes. Bike too large for my petite wife to ride safely. Seat was too painful for me. Staff was very polite, but did not offer solutions or refund.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers had an incredible time biking through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The bikes were easy to ride, and the electric assist made the trip a breeze. We loved the back roads and bike paths on the way there, and appreciated the more direct and smooth roads (although with more traffic) on the way back. We stopped off at the recommended town on the way and had a nice little lunch. We only wished we had more time in our day to see more! Would definitely recommend this tour!

We opted for the trekking bikes and had an amazing time riding the flat terrain from Lucca to Pisa. The bike path was mostly gravel but we did occasionally have to ride in the streets with cars. We decided to stop in S. Giuliano for lunch and that was a great experience. When we arrived in Pisa and saw the crowds we were very glad that we did that. We chose to take the train back to Lucca which was easy. The GPS app provided worked very well. It was a great way to experience a part of Tuscany

Great way to see the countryside riding from Lucca to Pisa. Beautiful views. We cycled one way and caught the train back which was easy to do. Bikes were great and staff were helpful.

The bikes were in great shape, the service was excellent, and the app worked well. The city of Lucca was awesome and the trip to Pisa was a nice ride. Combo of trail, road and a little off roading.
