My wife and I were staying in Setabul for a week so decided to book this tour. Our guide, Anildo, was a very informative and knowledgeable young man and keen to explain as much as possible about Setabul. He had an open and easy communication style which made it easy to ask questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the sights we visited and learning about the history of Setabul. As we were staying for a week it was a wonderful tour to do to learn about, and find our way around, the city. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone staying in Setabul.

We had a brilliantly insightful and thoughtful personalised tour with Raquel who added special stops and treats for our 5 year old twins who HATE walking! It was a wonderful experience

Just back from Setúbal, and what a ride! Explored the city with my pals on this tour, and we were all grins. Our local guide knew every cool nook, like that jaw-dropping view at Miradouro de São Sebastião. We wandered the historic streets and ended the tour by the Jesus Convent. Wrapped up the day feeling like we'd lived a slice of local life!

What an amazing time we had with our group of nine, we enjoyed a delightful walking tour that included a visit to the Jesus Convent – an absolute highlight. Our guide was an absolute delight, sharing some of her stories that had us all captivated. Setúbal's history came to life with a sprinkle of humor that made learning so much fun. Also the instashots we took against the stunning backdrop of the viewpoint were great! Five stars all the way!

Setubal came recommended to see from my friends. When looking around for options, the hotel found Raquel’s walking tour and we set it up. We arranged for a pickup at my hotel in Lisbon so I wouldn’t have to feel pressured to find the transit options and starting point myself which I think was a great idea, especially as I was learning the area. Raquel’s knowledge of Setubal and interest in tourism and history shined during the tour. She shared a bit about the canning industry and walked me through a historic factory, some museums and tourism centers, and my favorite part was just walking the different streets in the city and seeing all the shops and fun decor (which changes frequently). I also enjoyed seeing the market with all the fresh produce which is open in the morning (so book the morning tour if you’d like to see this). Raquel adapted our tour a little to show me some things I wanted to see, including guiding me to a restaurant where I could sample some local cuisine and helping me figure out transit back to Lisbon, by way of Cristo Rei, which I took the opportunity to see since I was already on this side of the water. I’d recommend taking the tour! If you have a couple ideas of what you want to see before you go on the tour, that might be a good idea and something to share with Raquel so she can tailor it to your interests. I didn’t have a plan and enjoyed it just the same. Setubal is had a different pace and energy than Lisbon and it was nice to get out and see a different town.
