This combined package has it all. This tour gives you a unique chance to see Cambridge both on foot and from the water, all in one visit. Enjoy a complete Cambridge experience by combining our 90-minute student- or graduate-led college walking tour with a 45-minute chauffeured punting trip—a great way to take in the city’s history and charm.
The tour takes place outdoors. If you choose when booking, after the walking tour finishes, you can add a self-guided visit to one of Cambridge’s most historic and beautiful chapels: King's College Chapel.
Then, without needing to arrange anything extra, you’ll board a traditional punt and glide along the peaceful River Cam. Passing the famous college backs, the Bridge of Sighs, and the college riverfronts, you’ll see parts of Cambridge that most visitors dream of, when coming here.
It’s a perfect way to enjoy both Cambridge’s rich academic heritage and its tranquil riverside scenery—all in one experience.

Peter, our guide for the walking tour was very poor. I know he had only been doing these walking tours for 2 months but he was not competent to take a group of 24 people and needed more training. He was not engaging and very limited on his general knowledge on the colleges and areas. It was very busy and he struggled to keep the group together and informed. We found it o disjointed, difficult to hear him and found him somewhat vague. In contrast the young guy who took us punting on the river was excellent and we learnt so much more from him as we traversed up and back on the river. Would recommend Scudamore for the punting trips as that was very good value for money

What a great tour! Jordy was our guide and did a fantastic job pointing out the sites and giving us tidbits of information. We happened to be in Cambridge during graduation time and he shared some of the peculiar traditions practiced. His pacing was spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.
