Taking a bike off the main roads and through the countryside is the best way to explore this vast, beautiful community. Sunchen was a wonderful tour guide. He has vast knowledge of Cambodia's history. As we strolled through the temples, he explained everything in detail. I especially enjoyed exploring the carvings of the temples and hearing about the stories carved into the walls. Since Covid, Siem Reap and much of Cambodia are still not fully recovered and are waiting on the tourism community to return. I was honored to be here and do my small part in supporting the community and the people who made my stay unforgettable. Most of the temples were quiet and nothing like the crowded tourist spots shown on Google. The pictures and videos I was able to capture on this tour show a much quieter side of this historic community. Do not question going to Cambodia and supporting it!

The Siem Reap bike tour was a highlight of our 6 week trip. Chen, our guide, played a critical roll in this. He brought us on what felt like a personalized adventure through hidden treasures of the Angkor park. He provided tons of interesting information about the history of Cambodia and each of the temples, while also giving us space at times to explore on our own. It was the perfect balance.

Really terrific, lively and kind tour guide with a wealth of historical info about Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia and the whole region. Just enough temples and fruit break and lunch were quite good. But bike routes between temples seemed longer than necessary, and alot of the dissertation should have been done while walking to each site. From 7:30AM to later in the day it becomes impossibly hot, making the transit uncomfortable at best, and even dangerous for dehydration reasons (although we did not lack water provided by the tour.) I would recommend a shorter more compact loop of closely clustered temples earlier in the day for the less athletic tourist like me.
