Cambodia has a lot of street food vendors dotted around town, but we’ll take you away from the tourists and go to eat where the locals eat. Road 60 is a popular destination for Khmer visitors and there is an abundance of street food available. As a hot and tropical country, many people eat outside and street food is a cheap option for many local Khmer people. Unfortunately, most tourists don’t get to experience the real taste of Cambodia and this is exactly what this tour is all about. We’ll take you to eat the real Cambodian cuisine what the locals like to eat.

5.00We booked this tour and Samnang was our guide. He was so incredible and really made this experience unforgettable. He showed up with a Tuk Tuk at our hotel and we went to a night market that is for locals. We stopped and had Cambodian pancakes, duck eggs and fresh sugar cane juice before moving on to pick up fried crickets, grasshoppers and frogs with local desserts. We stopped at a stall to grab a table and then picked out stuffed bullfrogs and quails to warm up in the bbq. We enjoyed beer with our snacks and everything we tried was so delicious. Samnang shared so much about Cambodia’s culture and history including the city and temples, with his personal life and he was such a joy to spend the evening with. He also reminded us that fried bugs may be a novelty but for many Cambodians during the Khmer Rouge, this is what they had to eat while they starved which puts things into perspective. This was our top activity in Cambodia-if you like good food and opportunities with locals, book the tour!!!

5.00Absolutely loved this tour. Our guide Bunpheng was the best. He was informative, funny and all out fun. Tried so many different foods at an authentic local market not a tourist one. The tour leaves you nice and full so no need to eat before hand. We got to try frogs and bugs it was great. Highly recommend this to anyone

5.00You go off the tourist track for this tour! The guide is fun company and is very passionate about showing off the street food only the locals go to. Skip the other food tours if you want an authentic experience! Only bad part is you won't find these dishes in any restaurants so savor every bite.

5.00We went on the street food tour with Bunpheng who was a fantastic host and delivered above and beyond our expectations. We went to a local market and tried many different local foods (yes including insects) which is exactly what we were after. We also had a very engaging conversation with our host. It was a fantastic way to spend an evening in Siem Reap.

5.00This is a REAL street food tour. You eat what the locals eat, where they eat and how they eat. From stuffed rice cakes to crickets, silkworms, grasshoppers and frogs, these are foods that you will not find without local help. Bunpheng was an excellent guide, happily answered all our questions about the local culture and food, and Mr.Vannak on his tuk tuk was always ready with cold towels and water bottles. Highly recommended if you are curious about local siem reap life.

5.00Our guide was great, so knowledgeable about cambodia and it culture and food. He took us to places we never would have seen. And we were able to try food not available in the usual tourist areas. And it was delicious! Would highly recommend and it's encouraging me to do these types of tours in other places. Great way to meet locals, learn about their country and eat great food. What's not to love!

5.00Great experience,everything we tried was different from the hotel cusine very authentic Fun and new. Our guide was very knowledgable and humerous. On the whole a must try we see the real Cambodian people cheerful and beautiful.
