I expected to see a good variety of fish and instead, only saw lots of oyster shells and needle fish. The kayak launching area was not safe nor easy to navigate. On a positive side, our guide, Dan, was very nice with a good sense of humor. He also offered a lot of insight of what we were seeing.

The tour was an absolutely amazing experience for our vacation. The instructors were awesome, giving all information about everything and they were even hunting down the critters that are in the water to be able to show us. We were permitted and encouraged to catch anything that looked interesting so we could look at it at the end. Just not the sting rays. That’s illegal, they advised. Definitely would go on this tour again and we recommend this to anyone in the area whether you are vacationing or a local.

I booked the clear bottom night kayak with Dan and Steve. It was a wonderful time. My mother and I rode in the same kayak. We rode around the water on the hunt. I did get some fish, shells, and a jellyfish. At the end we got to see what everyone caught and also got to hold one of the crabs(if you were brave enough) definitely recommend this experience. The tour guides were great the whole time, one was in the front and one in the back so no one got left behind.

Don called us ahead of time and waited for us to make sure you get to the right location. He is enthusiastic about his job, which is inspiring. We definitely recommend his tours, and he needs to be recognized!

Loved our kayak tour with Dan! My sister and I planned the tour as our first nighttime activity once we got to Siesta Key and it was a great activity to start our trip. We got to see fish, crabs, conch, and lots of other sea creatures. The excursion was a blast and Dan, our tour guide, kept us laughing. Definitely a great way to start a trip!

This really made our vacation and we saved a little extra to be able to afford it. Worth every penny and we had soooo much fun. The tour company and our guide Dan was very attentive to the weather and moved our group to a different side of water to make sure we had an area of calmer water. Because the boats hold 2 people I recommend going in groups of even numbers. The way it worked best for us was to have one person in the back paddling and the other in the front to keep a lookout for crabs and fish. The end was really fun and we were able to see all of the small creatures we collected in the clear plastic bucket and then they were safely released so we got to enjoy them and not cause any harm. Shout out to our guide Dan who had extra batteries for our boat lights and was really prepared for any emergency so we felt really comfortable and could just enjoy the experience.

The guide was fine but should have been warned/ advertised that had to jump down from a 4’ wall to walk in mud floored water to get into and out of kayak, Half the group have considerable difficulty getting in & out of Kayak while in the shallow water. We did not have right shoes or wear apparel for the mud and wetness of the kayak. Suggest this tour for young people only. Also did not see any fish or worthwhile sea creatures.

The guides were awesome and very knowledgeable! Water wasn’t quite as clear as I’d hoped. Please be advised your butt will get wet!
