Our newer, more spacious catamaran allows for better viewing and more space to move around in. With almost floor to ceiling windows and more comfortable seating the heated main cabin boasts a luxurious whale watching experience. The second deck allows guests a view from above, giving a birds eye view of these magnificent animals in all their glory. This 49 passenger vessel is great for families, small children and larger groups. Our incredibly stable vessel offers a smoother ride and spectacular viewing for all ages!

What To Expect
Icy Strait Point
For 2.5 hours you’ll be traveling through the waters of Icy Strait – home to a wide array of wildlife including Orcas (killer whales), Stellar sea lions, sea otters, Harbor seals, Dall’s porpoise, and the magnificent humpback whale. Keep an eye out for brown bears and Sitka Black-tailed deer meandering the shoreline, and the noble Bald eagle perched on tree-tops.
Whale watching in Icy Strait can take you to Point Adolphus, the world-renowned spot for extraordinary whale viewing. On this whale watching cruise, you will visit the most active playground of humpback whales in Southeast Alaska, where whale sightings are guaranteed! 5.00We had a spectacular trip. We were in awe as the captain and ranger aboard taught us so much about humpback whales, bubble net feeding, orcas, and the local people and culture. We were in awe as we saw a group of whales engaging in bubble net feeding, three orcas, and even one bear along the shore. Our captain worked closely with others on the water to show local spotting of a variety of action in the water and on the shore. The boat allowed for excellent viewing and photography options. We couldn't have been more pleased! If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely take this trip again.

4.00Tour was okay and definitely got to see parts of whales. In Hoonah there are several options and all the boat captain work together to spot whales and get everyone a chance to see Whales and dolphins.

5.00We decided last minute to take this boat trip while we were on a cruise ship. We were so glad we did! Captain Bri was excellent! She made sure to get as close to the animals as possible. I missed the whale breech but I managed to get some great fluke shots with my digital camera and zoom lens. We also saw a bear and sea lions. It was a great experience. Thank you!
