The show in Maori was good. The buffet was not so bad but too bad there are not more Hangi dishes.. Other than that, the presenter was great, good animation.

Beautiful, warm welcome from our tour guide, Rob. Spectacular geyser viewing, dance and musical performances were outstanding and the evening wrapped up with a delicious buffet!

A fantastic experience - you must do this while in Rotorua. Rotorua is known for its geothermal geysers and Maori culture and we experienced both at Te Puia. The evening started with a Maori welcome, song and performance and a traditional Haka. What an amazing opportunity to see this live. A Haka is a ceremonial Maori dance that expresses identity and cultural heritage. After this performance, we learned about the Maori cooking style of Hangi, and then had a guided tour and walk through the geothermal valley and saw their 6 active geysers in action. Having never seen the geysers in the US, this was a real treat. After our time in the valley we walked back to the Center for a delicious buffet dinner. It was a most enjoyable evening, about 3-3 1/2 hours. They also have a great gift shop where we bought a few things.

Spend an evening in Te Puia if you stay in Rotorua. And the Potuhu geyser has the possibility to manifest 2-3 times during your visit

Definitely the best experience of the Maori sites visited. As usual they introduce you to their culture. We witnessed their dances both sacred rituals and entertainment. We took a tour to see the geyser Pohutu, very nice, finally we enjoyed a nice and rich dinner. Don't miss to visit their store. We found beautiful items to give away

Glad we got this taste Māori culture. After a traditional greeting followed by musical and physical performances we watched the geyser bubble and spout, then enjoyed a buffet. We even had a perfect seat for the moonrise! Kia Ora.

The dinner was a bit disappointing. The food was not as expected. The performance show was the highlight of the entire tour
