The performance was an excellent choice for our trip to Asakusa. The performing was thoughtful, elegant, heartfelt, and featured impressive dancing, storytelling, and swordplay. Would recommend to a friend to check it out.

The performance and set up was held in a cozy theatre which lasted roughly a little over an hour. The staff were friendly and helpful and the performers were exuberant. The performance itself was magnificent and expertly crafted, the amount of love and mastery of their art truly shown through with their mesmerising performance. Showing a complex range of emotions and subtle facial expressions that elevate the experience!

It was AMAZING! I cried because it was so beautiful and touching. What a way to end my first trip to Japan. I love how all the performers interact with you before and after the show. They are so sweet. There’s vegetarian food!! They even take pictures with you after! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As the title suggests, I experienced the wonder that is Asakusa Kaguwa in July. I'm just now giving my honest to God review in December LOL. Here goes... This is a wonderful establishment that gives wonderful performances. The staff is beyond friendly, give superb service, and the show itself is lengthy with enjoyment. This is evident with what I've experienced. I scheduled my viewing for a particular date, and I foolishly arrived the day before. I was totally prepared to leave and come back the day after, but then they offered what felt like VIP seats along with the benefits that follow. Sure I had to pay the difference for the upgrade, but it was well worth it. I am actually recommending this exact show to someone I know that will be visiting Japan in the coming future. When I travel to Japan again, I will certainly be paying another visit to the spectacle known as Asakusa Kaguwa!

Awesome! Amazing choreography, talented performers, touching storytelling. Put this on your must-do list. We we're talking about it days later. As with all theater performances, the drinks were watered down, so order beer.

This is one of the best activities you can do in Tokyo. Perfect for the whole family. The dancing, story telling and costuming is exquisite. Make sure you arrive early to get free photos with the performers before the show starts. You even get to dress up.

This show was a wonderful surprise! It was our first time experiencing a Japanese cabaret, and we were very curious about what to expect. The stories were very nice, and the performers were very elegant. The highlight for us was definitely the amazing laser show! If you enjoy live performances and theater, I highly recommend seeing this show.

I have only been with Asakusa Kawa for a year, but there are few places in Tokyo that offer Japanese shows at night except Asakusa Kawa. The chairperson of Kawa Asakusa and the performers who are famous in the world of the show are performers with experience in various fields. I don't think there's any other restaurant other than Kawa Asakusa that does a show that mainly focuses on Japanese culture in about an hour. Everyone has their own evaluations, but I think there is only one place in Tokyo where you can enjoy Friday Sunday's oiran performance with a strong emphasis on Japanese music. If you want to enjoy Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Asakusa Kawa. Asakusa and Yoshiwara are the only nearby oiran performing outside in Tokyo, and if you want to go to the show store, it's the easiest place to go regardless of country.
