The tour was informative and entertaining with the guide providing historical context and walking us through how to pray at a Buddhist and Shinto shrine. The tour gave me the context to appreciate what I was seeing and the guide even gave me an amazing vantage point for photos overlooking the entire temple. Absolutely recommend.

We had a fantastic experience on our walking tour, our guide was very knowledgable and gave us a great understanding of the Shrine and Temple, customs relating to Japan for these various sites. Further, the post temple walking tour around old Tokyo was fantastic for understanding good restaurants, the bar district, street vendors and locations to shop etc. in Tokyo. Great way to orient yourself to this huge city.

A wonderful and interesting visit of Senso-ji temple and Sumida river bamboo lanterns. We learned a lot on the Japanese traditions, our guide was very enthusiastic. We had a great time despite the cold temperatures. We will certainly repeat the experience either in Tokyo or other cities in Japan.
