Interesting tour and area of Tokyo. Our guide, Hiroki, was very nice and provided good information about Shinto and Buddhism and how they are harmonious.

On our last full day in Japan my girlfriend and I went on a walking tour in Asakusa. We were fortunate to have Aya-san as our guide (although I’m sure others are also great!) and she was fantastic and knowledgeable. She happily answered any questions and was also curious to hear stories we had to share. She also taught us how to pray and act inside Japanese temples. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour and Aya-san to hear about and see some history of Tokyo!

Glenda was a phenomenal tour guide! She was very knowledgeable, and pointed out so many aspects of the temples I wouldn't have caught without her. She gave us historical context while also allowing some free time to roam and take pictures. She walked us through how to purify ourselves, get our fortunes, and proper guidelines for praying at the Temple. I was most excited for Senso-ji but ended up really enjoying the tour of Hoppy Street and Shin Nakamise as well!

Great experience for solo travelers, Aya was wonderful, she immersed us in Senso-ji and Tokyo history, with details that I would never learn if I was visiting the temple by myself. I had plenty of fun, tried local food recommended by her and learned tons. Thanks a lot Aya, great way to spend a couple of hours in one of the oldest temples in Tokyo.
