Our goal is to give you the best Tortuga Island experience packed with lots of activities for young and old. We are small and that makes us flexible to the wishes of our guests.

What To Expect
Full day of fun on a private speedboat to the beautiful Tortuga Island your best experience is our goal Pick up from your Jaco stay in Jaco at 7:15 am, then a quick ride to the neighboring beach Herradura where our boat is more ready to depart, a quick 40 minute boatride, connect your music with Bluetooth, to the other side of the Nicoya golf will bring us at the snorkeling site where we arrive first before the other boats arrive. After the snorkeling, you will enjoy a fresh baked breakfast snack with drinks After a brief instruction, you will be able to fly our unique Subwings underwater spin around etc, its easy and fun. Then we head to neighboring island to look for the spidermonkeys, they are so funny. Then it's time for the beach where you can relax in your personal beach chairs under the trees where fresh fruits will be served, play with SUP boards on the beach, swim in the calm waters, or just relax. at noon a delicious lunch, Fish, Chicken, or vegetarian will be served at shaded picnic area. Around 3 pm its time to get back on the boat for the ride back so you'll be back in your hotel at 4 pm. We hope to receive you soon and give you an excellent day on the water and beach

5.00Robert made our Christmas vacation SO special!!! Boating to Tortuga with a stop to see the monkeys, snorkel, SubWing and the island was tops! After a delicious lunch he took us away from the crowds so we could have a more peaceful afternoon in the sun and surf. And seeing a humpback whale on our way home was icing on the cake!! Don’t go with the large catamaran - go with Robert for a catered experience!!

5.00This is a great day for everyone in your party! Snorkeling, lounging, sub wing, a delicious lunch-and spider monkeys. Captain Robert is a solid dude, and when you see the boats crammed to the brim with people you will be so grateful to have your own boat, to spend the day as you wish. We saw monkeys, dolphins, sea turtles, and whales while we were out. Perfect activity for our party of seven, including teenagers.

5.00Great family adventures, something for everyone from teens to Grandma. We were choosing between a private Subwing tour and a larger group tour. We are very happy we chose Subwing. Captain Robert was attentive to every detail. From getting us to the snorkeling spot early before all the crowds to reserving us beach lounge chairs in the shade. We saw spider monkeys, tons of fish, javelinas, and dolphins. One benefit of the private tour was when seeing dolphins in the distance we quickly changed course and got a long up close view.

5.00Great day on the water and at Tortuga. We got a bit foiled by some patches of red tide which was definitely not Robert’s fault but did interfere (a bit) with the sub wing and snorkeling and even time on the beach. We all made the best of it. Robert was great and when we saw the masses loading and unloading from the giant ferries at the island, having the mellower, private experience was definitely worth it! Monkeys did not show for us but we ended the day with something even better than monkeys…. A sighting of a momma whale at its calf. Amazing!

5.00If you love a boat ride on the ocean and white sandy beaches this is for you. I have been on a number of catamaran rides but having your own smaller boat that allows you to customize the tour around the islands is the best. Robert our guide waa awesome! Ready to cater to all our needs. Yummy empenadas for breakfast and delicious rum punch throughout the day.

5.00We had the best day with Robert! I highly suggest booking this tour if you want a more tailored experience. My son has a hard time with large groups of people so I switched last minute from the catamaran and was so happy I did. We all had lots of fun! I highly recommend this experience, it was a highlight of our trip!
