Setting sail from the Marina dock at Los Suenos Resort at 7:45 AM, you’ll be thrilled to know that the journey to Isla Tortuga takes just 45 minutes.
As you approach, prepare to be captivated by the stunning views of the island and the Nicoya Peninsula. Upon arrival, you’ll find a variety of exciting activities to choose from, including snorkeling, a thrilling banana boat ride, hiking, or simply unwinding and soaking in the serene surroundings.

Begin your adventure at the prestigious Los Suenos Resort & Marina, just a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Jaco and a convenient 1 hour and 15 minutes from San Jose International Airport. Spend less time traveling and more time exploring the stunning waters! Once you arrive at the island, you’ll have the option to dive into a variety of activities or unwind on the beach while our attentive staff caters to your every need. Your complimentary activities on the island include snorkeling, exhilarating banana boat rides, and scenic nature hikes. For an additional fee, you can also thrill in paddle boarding and kayaking.

5.00Absolutely one of the best excursions! Went with 3 girlfriends and enjoyed such a fabulous time. The crew was amazing, and very attentive to everyone onboard and ashore. Food and drinks were delicious! Be careful, those never ending margaritas creep up on you! Snorkeling was so fun....lots of fish to see and the banana boat ride was hilarious! Great time had by all!

5.00All of the staff were super friendly and lively. The boat was very clean. Staff would check & spray after anyone used the bathroom. The island is beautiful and there’s something to do for everyone; snorkeling, banana boat ride, hiking, or just laying on the beach. Bring beach shoes cause the water is rocky. Also, the hike is nice and they say you can wear flip flops, but you really need a hiking boot or shoe because there are many rocks and someone could def get hurt if not wearing the proper shoes. The food/lunch was surprising delicious and entire group of 6 enjoyed. I’m not a big drinker, but the liquor is low in that unlimited rum punch. Highly recommend this excision. We enjoyed more than I can express.

5.0010/10 experience!!! All workers on the boat treated you like family and they were all so much fun! They made sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. Tortuga Island is breathtaking and a must see when visiting Costa Rica! All you can drink, amazing lunch and great vibes!

5.00Spent my birthday on this tour and it was great. The boat ride was so smooth on the way there and back. Once you arrive on the island there are chairs designated just for the tour group. They bring you drinks almost immediately (loved). They have activities like snorkeling and the banana boat. The water was a bit choppy for me for snorkeling. I was in and out. The banana boat was verrrryyyyy safe! We were going about 10 miles per hour. I understand though. The food was delicious! I had a great birthday!

5.00There are some awesome reviews on here that help with planning your day on Tortuga. This was by far my entire group's (of 12) favorite thing we did. Things to know: The food is delicious, filling, and there is plenty. Even if it rains IT'S SO FUN. Don't cancel! Bring a volleyball, Frisbee, or whatever is fun for you. Someone will play with you, I promise. Board early to get the top deck spot in front of the captain - you won't regret it. We drove ourselves there and it was more convenient for us so we could go to the store/get dinner after. If you're going to propose, now is the time. If you're a drinker, bring your own booze. Don't #2 on the boat... just don't man...we all know it's you and we hate you for it. Binoculars would have been so cool, bring if you have. If its sunny, DRINK WATER. Nobody wants to deal with your slop on the way back. Change of cloths would have been nice for the boat ride back. TIP WELL, they deserve it all.

5.00It was by far the best day we had in Costa Rica! The staff was exceptionally attentive to each and every guest. Their main goal was for every guest to have the best time from start to finish-whether that be adventure packed or just lounging on the beach- they made it happen! At the end of the day it felt like everyone was family. They gave a toast at lunch to everyone individually who was there celebrating something (birthday, anniversary) and we happen to be on our honeymoon! It was so unexpected and such a sweet gesture! It made us feel so loved and welcome! Wilbur, Jordan, Mariana, Julie and the Captain were some of the nicest people we have ever met! Calling us by name- getting to know our history, where we’re from… it’s just something that doesn’t happen often in the states! We couldnt have been more pleased with this excursion. So book the charter NOW! The only regret you’ll have is that it’s only one day long….
