Setting sail from the Marina dock at Los Suenos Resort at 7:45 AM, you’ll be thrilled to know that the journey to Isla Tortuga takes just 45 minutes.

As you approach, prepare to be captivated by the stunning views of the island and the Nicoya Peninsula. Upon arrival, you’ll find a variety of exciting activities to choose from, including snorkeling, a thrilling banana boat ride, hiking, or simply unwinding and soaking in the serene surroundings.

Begin your adventure at the prestigious Los Suenos Resort & Marina, just a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Jaco and a convenient 1 hour and 15 minutes from San Jose International Airport. Spend less time traveling and more time exploring the stunning waters! Once you arrive at the island, you’ll have the option to dive into a variety of activities or unwind on the beach while our attentive staff caters to your every need. Your complimentary activities on the island include snorkeling, exhilarating banana boat rides, and scenic nature hikes. For an additional fee, you can also thrill in paddle boarding and kayaking.

The crew and staff were excellent! There is no white sand beach, just small rocks that hurt your feet. The lunch was good and drinks were flowing. The day was a little too long.

My wife and I enjoyed this excursion. Aron, the captain and entire crew were friendly, and attentive. The Costacat is a well maintained vessel and the food and beverage services upon arrival were well organized. I enjoyed snorkelling and saw many fish and ocean wildlife. Buffet lunch was exceptional. The crew never missed a beat. We would highly recommend!

Crew was the best equipment was well maintained meals were good not clear that to snorkel had tho board a small boat from the beach and then travel to rock outcropping no reef no coral some fish lots of other boats at same spot

10/10 experience for me. Imagine waking up and heading to a large and clean catamaran, to sail 45 minutes to a beautiful island… It was an early wake up, but definitely worth it. The views were stunning, and once we arrived, we were greeted with cool margaritas. I chose to not drink before the snorkeling activity, which was also an amazing experience. I saw over 6 types of fish, some bigger, some small, but all very friendly. We saw schools of fish right under us as well. Once we got back to the beautiful white sand beach, we relaxed under the sun for sometime before browsing the souvenir shop, (buy the $4 wifi..) and then heading to lunch. Lunch was decent, buffet style, saw people getting seconds and thirds. I’d do this excursion again without a doubt. Book it.

The staff the food the drinks were great we didn’t even have the best weather to snorkel but the experience being out on the ocean in Costa Rica amazing we did see Sea Turtles riding to the private beach which was so well thought out they had tables set up for the food along the beach chairs and umbrellas. Great having the private little bathrooms. Coming back and watching the sunset was beautiful!! So happy we did this and with this company. The Captain works just as hard as the rest of his staff!

The staff was amazing and the catamaran boat ride to the island was awesome especially seeing the dolphins jumping out of the water. Then getting to the island they were so organized. Got us drinks right away then the chef was amazing prepping a great lunch. Then off to snorkeling and then banana boat. You must book this it’s a fun filled day.
