Adventure Tours Costa Rica
Our 4 hours is our half-day tour and covers amazing waterfalls, rivers, rainforest, countryside, small villages, hidden bars and restaurants. Is a great ride covering the mountain ranges Agujas and getting our almost as far as Las Delicias. Begins in the mountains directly behind Jaco, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain.
Catarata Bijagual
After the brief stop, we continue up through primary rainforest and above the canopy to the top of the mountain range. Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas. We continue along the top of the mountain and through the rainforest towards the tranquil Pueblo of Bijagual. Passing by the pueblo's church, soccer field and central saloon, we soon arrive at our delicious lunch destination - El Paz Del Campo (closed Tuesdays - delicious alternative offered). The hidden Tilapia Farm and Restaurant provides not only some of the best authentic Costa Rican food you will have, it also offers an incredibly serene environment and the fun of fishing the tilapia fish right from the gazebo above the pool that surrounds. Let the kids grab a stick to fish with and try their and try their luck in the little pond - great fun for the kids! Kick back, relax and bask in the serenity of the lush Costa Rica Rainforest over lunch.

Had a great tour. It's was for My son's 18th birthday. It was even better that we had a tour guide all to ourself. He really made sure my son enjoyed itself to celebrate his birthday. I truly appreciate that.

Intense and fun! More gravel and asphalt than we would have liked. Definitely go to the waterfall so you can ride more jungle trails. Lunch was amazing!!!

This adventure was so much FUN! Kiko was a great tour guide and showed us much of the beauty of Costa Rica. My wife was nervous at first about handling her own ATV, but she ended up loving it as much as I did.

Super awesome experience and a totally unique way to experience Costa Rica. The tour was amazing and our guide, Eric, was fabulous to have. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our trip—ensuring everyone’s safety and making sure we were all comfortable and having fun! It was really a great tour and worth it if you love the outdoors! Also wear clothes you’re comfortable getting a little dirty because boy howdy is there dust

A group of 6 (2 dads and 4 boys in their 20s) did the 4-hour ATV excursion with lunch. It was a fun trip - the boys loved it. The lunch was very good. The guides were good. The ATVs were very well maintained. We visited a cool stream pool in the forest where we jumped in to cool off. The vast majority of the trip (~ 90%) is riding the ATVs on roads - some paved and much unpaved. There was only a short portion of the trip where we rode on trails in the rain forest. I was expecting a lot more off road riding through the forest. The route is out and back (not a loop). Definitely bring face scarves for the dust. We did an ATV excursion in the Jaco area many years ago that was almost entirely off road and was much better.

This is an excellent tour and SO MUCH FUN! My wife was a little nervous about driving her own ATV, but got comfortable very quickly and she loved it. Kiko was a fantastic guide and taught us lots about the wonder and nature of Costa Rica and its people. We went swimming under and behind a waterfall, saw lots of beautiful birds, enjoyed breathtaking views and ate delicious homemade local food. We highly recommend this adventure.

This experience did not disappointment! Everything I imagined it would be and more. The guide, Will, was amazing! He was so nice and knowledgeable. He was patient and helped us if we needed anything. We went up and down the mountain, through different terrain to the waterfall. Waterfall area was so cool. We climbed up the side to get to the top and were able to jump in and swim around. After we ate an authentic Costa Rican meal overlooking the side of the mountain. While we ate, a Tucan showed up on a nearby tree! It was so magical. Food was delicious and there was so much I couldn’t finish! A must do on your trip! Highly recommend!
