This tour is an excellent alternative to Tortuga Island to avoid the crowds and is a great short and sweet day trip perfect for families with children, couples, and singles.

Join us on a very unique and exclusive catamaran day trip (4.5 hours) to Playa Fantasia. Our day trip departs at 11 am from Playa Herradura cruising 40 minutes up the Gulf of Nicoya to a secluded beach.

Playa Fantasia is a beach, accessible only by water, a beach with sprawling jungle, reef formations, white sand and turquoise waters. Untouched and full of marine and wildlife such as Monkeys, Scarlet Macaws, Turtles, and of course, all our rescued animals.

Included, you will have a beautiful fresh lunch cooked by our private chef at Playa Fantasia as well as a bar of fresh Pina Coladas, margaritas, mojitos, beer, soda and water. Fresh fruits served throughout the entire tour.

At Playa Fantasia, you have access to boogie boards, paddleboards, surfboard, snorkel gear (unguided) hammocks and beach loungers.

There is plenty of shaded areas on board, please prepare to spend majority of your tour in direct or indirect sunlight. For safety reasons spray sunscreens are not permitted.

Our cruise is not a booze cruise, if you are looking for a booze cruise, you will be disappointed

Our crew reserves the right to refuse entry to passengers who are intoxicated, without refund. Our crew also reserves the right to stop serving alcohol if it affects the safety of passengers.

We board the large catamaran from small tenders from the beach. Long dresses, and pants are not recommended.

Snorkel equipment is available, snorkelling is not guided.

Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required

You will be notified by a representative of your pickup time, our transportation will only wait 5 minutes at each stop before moving to the next stop. If you miss your transportation time, your tour will be cancelled without refund.

Banana boat rides can be requested by message before the tour. USD 20.00 per person

ID is necessary to use all snorkel equipment, paddle boards and boogie boards.

If you are in Jaco in our Winter time (May 15th - December 15th) the chances for good snorkeling are 50/50, since it is the rainy season all depends on good weather and good ocean conditions. and it is not under our control, however we offer other activities like boogie boards, surf boards, SUP Paddle boards, as well as Soccer and Beach Volleyball on our tours in order to entertain and give our clients an unforgettable experience.

Accessible only by sea, hidden between two mountain ranges in secondary forest and protected by two volcanic reefs, the wild jungle flows down on the untouched white sand and turquoise waters. Thus was a fantastic tour! Plenty of things to do or you could just spend time in the water or relaxing on the beach. The staff was incredible and attentive. The lunch was by far the best ive had while on an excursion like this.

This was a really nice day on the beach. The organizers made it very clear this is not a “booze cruise” and that worked just fine for us. The beach isn’t the most beautiful we’ve experienced - lots of debris from stream runoff and there was also a lot of plastic trash, but it was not overly rocky and there was a good amount of shade. The meal they cooked for us was superb, and the drinks were strong and tasty. The crew was all super nice and friendly, so I’m not sure about the reviews saying otherwise. Overall we loved the day and would highly recommend booking if you’re looking for a chill all-inclusive day on the water and beach.

We got a last minute booking on the Sea Lounge and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. Our family spanned ages 7 to 73 and we all agreed it was one of our best experiences in Costa Rica. The crew were all very attentive throughout the boat ride and at the beach. The lunch was SO fresh and delicious, even the table setting was impressive considering the remote location. The beach was gorgeous and secluded. We loved the boat ride itself so much, could not have asked for a better day!

There were 12 of us on this sail and beach adventure along with 5 capable and friendly crew. A “dingy” was used to take us to and from the boat, all with ease. The beach and ocean were nice and set in a beautiful location. Unlike most of this type of activity, drinks were made to order and the food was excellent. Great job and good experience all around.

I was very excited about this trip. I had talked to them via WhatsApp and everything was set. Or so I thought. I showed up at the projected time and they couldn't find me anywhere. I showed them the messages on WhatsApp and they said it was never communicated to them. They did say I could go, but there would be no food. I said can absorb that for a day, but what discount. None. Seriously, they wouldn't even give a discount for the lack of food or inconvenience that I had. Told them no thanks. I was curious if they would respond on WhatsApp . Nope. A serious lack of customer service and follow up. That is the true test of a company, when something goes wrong, what do they do. Definitely not a company to go with. Plenty of others and would suggest looking elsewhere As a side note, I did it the way I did because they said there is a discount if I paid in cash. Guess it was not a smart move on my part.

We had a great day with Johannes and the rest of the crew. They could not have been better. The beach was fantastic, the food was amazing and the drinks kept flowing. Johannes was full of information and so happy to share everything he knew. We saw sea turtles on our way back. Highly recommend this tour.

It was a great day. Unfortunately, due to rain we couldn't snorkel, and we didn't get to see any sloths. However, the crew was really nice, the lunch was one of the best meals I had all week and the beach was a private paradise.

Weather was perfect. Boat trip was about an hour to reach the destination beach. On the way, we saw a whale, supposedly a humpback but couldn't tell because it didn't breach. Water was warm, but choppy, and waves were strong. Beach has lots of big and small pebbles and rocks, so bring water shoes to walk. Lunch was very good, delicious bbq chicken and beef, and fresh salad. They had lounge chairs, hammocks, for us to sit and relax and take in the beautiful view. The only thing I didn't like was the fume from the back of the boat. On the return trip, to avoid the fume, I sat in the front.

This was the best tour we have ever done. We went last year and couldn’t wait to come back so we could do this tour again. However, we saw all the good reviews for Tortuga Island and decided to go there instead. Big mistake! Tortuga Island was good, but too crowded. This tour was much better! I thought the food and drinks were better on this one too. It felt like we were on a deserted island, but with great food, service, and drinks. Don’t book anything but this one, you couldn’t possibly regret it.
