What To Expect
Head out from Tri-Sport's Simpsonbay location for an adventure into the history and geology of St. Maarten. You will pass over The Causeway and ride towards the French capital, Marigot, with a short stop at the famous monument depicting the border where the treaty was signed more than 350 years ago between the Dutch and the French. Continue along the mostly flat Bellevue road and through Marigot's bustling waterfront market, stopping at Fort Louis for amazing views of the bay. Next, follow the route around the Lagoon to Baie Rouge where your guide will point out some geological wonders like Devil's Hole and Point Bluff, a small deserted island, which was once the entry point to the Lagoon. Ride on through the opulent neighbourhood of Terres Basses, and then stop off at the famous Maho Beach where you can almost touch the planes as they approach the runway, mere inches above your head. Enjoy a cold drink and then head back to the starting point in Simpsonbay. Please note that St. Maarten does not have cycling lanes, therefore this tour requires cycling with traffic, which might be an uncomfortable experience if you are not accustomed to it.

5.00Made this trip from the cruise port. Our Dutch speaking guide Jan was waiting for us at the cruise port and took us on a tour around the island. Being able to cycle at your own pace and Jan knew how to tell nice things along the way at the various stops. Very worthwhile and seen many beautiful things about Sint Maarten. Halfway done a refreshing Carib beer. Recommended if you are on St. Maarten!

5.00My son and I signed up for this tour to learn more about the island. Pablo was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and shared interesting details about the island. The e-bikes were top notch. It was a hot day but Pablo made sure we had plenty of water and even treated us to a fruit drink! Overall, it was a great tour and I definitely recommend it.

Since the moment we chose to do the tour with them at home..they were always extraordinary! they returned us the e-mails super quickly with our doubts and helped us to choose the tour that best suited to what we wanted. It is hard to trust so far that it will go well..as we felt from the first moment that we were well delivered! On the awake day there was Pablo waiting for us! Good e-bike that despite the route being practically flat helps us due to the high temperatures.
