During this hands on lesson, we will share some traditional recipes we always seen in our families. Antipasti with a varietal of bruschette and cheese, meat ragù, handmade pasta, such as tagliatelle, and desserts are the dishes we will prepare and eat together.
Our dinner cooking class starts at 5 PM on Tuesday and Friday, while the lunch cooking class begins at 10 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our classes lasts about 4 hours.

Hands on cooking class for pasta dough which we'll use for tagliatelle, homemade ragù, chicken cacciatore and chocolate lava cake. Everything washed down with a couple of glasses of our wines produced at the estate. Apron and recipes to take home included for every partecipants. If you have any type of allergy or intollerance, or a specific diet (vegetarian/vegan), you can tell us and we will adjust the menu for you.

We have taken several cooking classes both at home and while travelling so we were very comfortable suggesting a class to our travel companions. We chose Guardastelle because it was conveniently located and the reviews were glowing. Our day at Guardastelle with Chef Beppe was probably one of our favourite cooking classes. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and immediately starting preparing an amazing lunch. Stuffed zucchini flowers, homemade pasta including tagliatelli, mezzelune and tortelloni, beef ragout, chicken cacciatore and decadent chocolate lava cake for dessert. Beppe was an entertaining and knowledgeable instructor and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the kitchen. When lunch was almost ready, he escorted us to a beautifully set table on a terrace overlooking the most picturesque countryside. It was a very memorable moment. Beppe served us course after course, accompanied by lovely wines from Guardastelle. It was truly a wonderful day... we all agreed that it was definitely one of our favourite activities on this vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Guardastelle again.

Visiting the cooking school on Elba was a spontaneous birthday present in the course of our first Elba stay. We were immediately fascinated by the friendliness and pleasant atmosphere. The couple (master chef Andrea Conte and his indispensable support Christina) mastered with flying colors all the concerns of the participants:innen and we were able to learn a lot worth knowing from the first minute in a pleasant way and also to try it out immediately. I never thought that making Italian pasta would be so easy if you know exactly what really matters ;-) Under professional guidance, I even dismantled and prepared sardines - a real madness in taste - my prejudices against this fish are eliminated forever! After this beautiful evening, good food with a convivial finish, we decided to learn more about Italian cuisine and discover more exciting culinary secrets in the course of our next robbery on Elba...

First, the location was out of a movie - ancient vineyards, olive groves, Tuscan farmhouse, rolling hills just 5 minutes from San Gimignano. So beautiful and authentic. Second, our chef Federico was wonderful - we loved his menu and the simple purity of all the dishes (4!) we prepared. He had appetizers ready when we arrived, so we got right to work making the ragu sauce with Chianina beef (the best!), sauce for the chicken cacciatore, lightly-breaded and fried zucchini blossoms, fresh pasta for both ravioli and tagliatelle, chocolate cake, along with a side for every course. Of course, we had generous glasses of Vernaccia and Chianti, both produced by the estate, to help us along. The most impressive part was Federico’s obvious love for Tuscany and the bounty of the region. He made it look simple but the presentation was so elegant. Thanks for teaching us so much more than just the recipes - we’ll be back some day!

Took my daughter and her friend for the cooking class in June 2024. Wow!!! What a wonderful experience with Chef Beppe! We had a wonderful time, we learned a lot, and created some amazing dishes! After learning and cooking, we ate! The food we made was delicious. We also sampled two of the wines from the Guardastelle winery and they were wonderful! I highly recommend this experience!

Hello !! Almost exactly one year after our trip to Tuscany including an amazing day to Guardastelle we are reproducing our pizza masterclass ... we still talking a lot about you guys !!! The last 2 pictures are from last years with our friend Fausto ! The other ones is our home made experience. Hope to see you again !
