Booking the Ride The customer requests a ride via an app, website, phone call, or email. They provide: Pick-up location Destination Date and time Vehicle type Passenger details and any special requests (luggage, child seat, accessibility, etc.) A price estimate or fixed fare is usually shown at this stage. Booking Confirmation Once the request is accepted: The system confirms availability The customer receives a booking confirmation (email, SMS, or app notification) Key details are shared: trip time, fare, cancellation policy, and booking reference Driver Assignment Closer to the trip time A driver is assigned Vehicle and driver details are shared (name, license plate, contact info) The driver receives the trip instructions and route Pre-Pickup Preparation Before arrival: The driver plans the optimal route using traffic and navigation tools The customer may receive reminders or live tracking The driver ensures the vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready Arrival at Pick-Up Location At the scheduled time: The driver arrives at the pick-up point The driver waits for the passenger (with Name Displayed) The passenger is notified of arrival Passenger Verification and Boarding The driver: Confirms the passenger’s name or booking reference Assists with luggage if needed Confirms the destination before departure 7Transport to Destination During the ride: The driver follows the planned or customer-preferred route Adjustments are made for traffic or passenger requests Comfort and safety are prioritized throughout the journey Arrival and Drop-Off At the destination: The driver stops at the agreed drop-off point Assists with luggage if applicable Confirms the trip has ended Payment and Receipt After drop-off: Payment is processed (automatic in-app, card, cash,) A receipt is issued Any additional charges (tolls) are finalized 1Feedback and Support Post-ride: The customer may rate the ride and driver Feedback helps improve service quality Customer support handles any issues or follow-up requests
