What a trip! We saw everything we hoped to see and some surprises as well. Tony had the trip very well planned and it all went smoothly. He was also very patient and flexible when dealing with special needs of some in the group. Everyone had a great time and marveled at the sites we visited.

Toni treated us and 2 other friend couples to an outstanding customized tour of Transylvania, including “Dracula’s” castle ( also home to beloved queen Marie) but also fascinating fortified towns and churches, other 15th century quaint towns, castles, Roman ruins, king carol’s castle, the prison for unhappy couples to name a few. He helped with medical needs in the pharmacies, taught us so much about the history, culture and traditions of Romania. The accommodations were charming and right in town, the van was very comfortable and the days packed but not overfilled. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, attentive to our needs and wants. I cannot say enough great about Toni and his tour company.

Our tour with Crafted Tours Romania was better than I ever dreamed it could be. This was a heritage trip to see my grandmother's homeland. Toni greatly exceeded our expectations for a guided tour. He explained the rich history of Romania while showing us the remarkable beauty of the country. And, his choices of unique, historic hotels and phenomincal restaurants greatly added to our experience. However, what made this tour so memorable was the caring and kindness Toni showed us throughout our 6 days together. Toni made sure we saw places that were meaningful and significant while adding to our depth of understanding through sharing his experiences growing up in Romania. Toni's expertise and love of the country showed in everything we did. We now feel connected to the country of my ancestors and to the wonderful people living in Romania today.

We spent 4 full days with Toni guiding us through Transylvania and Bucharest. We had long days but he managed to get us to everything we wanted to see in the area. He’s a very well informed guide and helpful in every instance. I also found him to be organized and his itinerary well planned to maximize the time of our short visit. Overall, full recommendation for you to use his services.

Our trip with Crafted Tours Romania exceeded our expectations. When we booked the tour, we were unsure how many of the sites would be open in January, and were pleasantly pleased that almost all of them were open and accessible. For the few that were not, Toni our tour guide, substituted other sites that he knew we would enjoy. Toni’s knowledge gave us a greater appreciation of the historical significance of all the sites we toured. And with backgound info from Toni, we enjoyed evenings on our exploring Brasov, Sibiu and Sighisoara. We would highly recommend this tour and Toni.

From medieval castles, fortresses, citadels and wonderful tours of ancient cities and churches -- virtually every place on the itinerary was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Tony, was extremely accommodating and we felt like "family" throughout the entire time. His knowledge of the history amazed us and the sites visited were thoroughly explained -- we learned a lot from the experience and couldn't have had a better guide. He was always on time, up-beat and eager to share the many facets of Romania's history with us, spanning the early days of the region up to and including videos of the beginning of the revolution of 1989 when the communist government was overthrown. Would highly recommend this tour. If you only have a week to spend in Romania -- this is the best bang for your buck.
