The best walking food tour that we have taken. Carlos is knowledgeable and passionate about his Valladolid and Mayan heritage and the food that brings people together. He is also very relatable as he spent some time on the Canadian prairies for his education. We would highly recommend this tour for its wonderful food, history of the region and the exemplary tour guide.

Carlos was the best tour guide! You can tell his love of local food and culture and it was an amazing morning being shown around Valladolid by him. Highly recommend this tour as you will find hidden gems that can’t be found on google. Also come hungry! We split some of the things and still were stuffed!

This food tour in Valladolid was simply the best!! We were in Yucatan for 2 weeks and it was our favourite thing we experienced. We got to try a great variety of food that was all local and insanely good. Our guide Carlos was a absolute legend. He gave us so much information and made the morning so nice for us!!! It’s such a wonderful tour and pretty interesting places that we visited… the food was delicious specially the “relleno negro” and the “tamales”… I would like to come back to Valladolid or Merida… our guide Alex it’s awesome actually he is a chef… that explains why he knows a lot of spots.. definitely it’s a must while at the Yucatan peninsula.

Chef Alex took us on an unforgettable food adventure through Valladolid.
