The guide (Anita) was so friendly and knowledgeable about the formations and the history of the Lava Tube. I normally stay far away from ‚Touristy Things‘ but am so glad we went on the tour. In other countries the floor would have been levelled with concrete and lighting put in everywhere but this is really well preserved with the minimum handrails to make it accessible. We all learned new stuff while being guided.

A fabulous subterranean tour. Our guide was excellent, and she led us through the amazing complex of caves and tunnels with lots of explanation and time to explore. A really interesting hour spent, well worth the entrance fee. Thank you!

We went there with our daughter. Never been in a lava tube before so we thought it would be fun. You got a helmet and flashlights as safety equipment. It was very cool and interesting to see how the lava tubes formed. You do have to walk down a metal winding staircase and it is cool and wet down there. There is NO bathroom so go before. No gift shop. Guide was very informative and made the tour interesting.

Wow! Such a great cave and an excellent guide! We loved the spiral stairs and lava tube cave! We’ve been to quite a few caves and learned so much about our first lava tube cave!

This is an experience we will nurture and enjoy thinking back to for many years to come. Our host, Thor, was instrumental in creating this experience with story of how it formed and the nature of caves in general. Five big stars and big thanks for the experience

Work this into your visit to the peninsula! It's a short but informative tour. Very cool experience! You could tell that our tour guide loved her work and had a real interest in the lava cave and volcanos. Highly recommend.
