Basilica is a holy place, both men and women must wear clothing that covers the belly, shoulders and knees.

Carolina from Walks In Europe was very informative and friendly leading the tour. Both the Doge's Palace and the Basilica are definitely worth a visit, so much history to see in each building.

Great visit to both the palace and Basilica. Very informed guide but due to the closing time of the Basilica it felt a little rushed. But didn’t take away from the overall great experience.

Alessandra was fantastic! We really enjoyed the tour of the palace. Be sure to wear warm clothes, gloves, hats, etc! The cafe at the end of the first palace was a nice treat.

Sandra was an excellent guide. She beautifully explained the Venetian history and culture in the Doge palace and Basilica. The pace was good neither rushed nor slow. I would highly recommend.

Clara was excited for us to experience Venice’s landmarks. She is the first guide who learned our names and referenced us by name throughout the tour. We were also fortunate to be booked on a cold rainy winter day as the landmarks were mainly empty. Viator was also very accommodating to our request; we will recommend this company to our traveling friends.
