I'm not sure the teacher approach from the guide worked for us. We wanted to understand the history of the Vikings, to hear it through stories, but got more of a lesson. And don't ask the teacher a question! Some might like this but we didn't need a test all the time. The bus wasn't even swept out - a half-used Coke bottle was in the door and the floors had soil on them from the previous tour, so I didn't place my handbag on the floor.

We visited Stockholm primarily to see The Vasa Wreck but we also wanted to see some of Swedens culture and history, particularly their Vikings so we chose this tour which just happened to fall on my 50th birthday. Gabriel, our tour guide is one of the most intelligent, interesting and passionate men I’ve ever met. I’ve had a fantastic day, full of education and adventure. Plus, the company paid for drinks and cakes for my whole family to celebrate my birthday. Thank you for a special day Gabriel!
