Your adrenalin will be pumping when you captain a four- or six-passenger Zodiac, a rigid-hulled inflatable boat offering speed and agility. The adventure begins with a tour by van through historic downtown Ketchikan. Look out the windows as your scenic drive travels past totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the beautiful coastline of the Tongass Narrows to the Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh air as you walk the mystical rainforest trail to the Zodiac. After a safety briefing, you’ll bundle up in rain gear, rubber boots and a life jacket, step inside the sturdy Zodiac and follow your guide out to the beautiful George Inlet Fjords. Soak up the pristine scenery, and marvel at the rich wildlife. After cruising for 90 minutes, you’ll return to the cannery for a complimentary flight of 49th state craft beers or sodas and a snack!

5.00We had a a great time on the zodiac quest ages 14-69 a group of 7 of us. Jayden was our guide and he did a fantastic job, we particularly liked the eagles. We also got to see seals. It was rainy so we were very thankful to have the provided rain gear (don’t forget the goggles even if it’s not raining) . We had 2 boars for our group of 7. It was particularly nice at the end to enjoy the soda flight for those of us who couldn’t / don’t drink. Highly recommend. We booked ours through our Cruise line.

5.00Jaden was our guide for the zodiac boats and he was great!!! We got to drive the zodiac boats ourselves which was exhilarating and we got to sit down and enjoy some local Alaskan snacks and drinks after. Great experience.

5.00We had such a great time! They were so accommodating and the whole experience was amazing! Jaden was our guide and he was so great! We got to see a bald eagle, seals, and some cool Alaskan homes. The boats were comfortable and easy to drive! We got lucky and had a sunny day so we got to see a lot of the inlet! 10/10 would do this again, by far our favorite thing we have done in Ketchikan!

5.00Our driver, Beth and tour guide Emily were fantastic! Both were super knowledgeable and friendly and enjoyed engaging in conversation. The whole process of getting to and on the boat was seamless. It’s a super professional operation and we felt very comfortable driving the boat. They provide you with wet gear if you prefer to wear it. We saw a sea lion basking! After the ride, they take you back to the cannery and let you sit and enjoy the wilderness while tasting Alaskan beer and wine!

5.00We were blessed with a warm, beautiful sunny day so we didn’t need the supplied boots and HH provided rain gear. The walk from the drop off point was beautiful and a short trek to the pier. The zodiac boats provided are better than expected. They have padded seats and steering wheels. We half expected the zodiacs where you have wooden benches and steer by a handle. Emily was our guide and you can feel her passion and excitement for what she does. She truly loves it. We saw eagles, beautiful waterfalls, salmon leaping from the water and an abundance of seals. We did not see bears but the tour before or did, so while we missed them, they are there. Becca served our snacks which was a selection of meats and cheeses along with a choice of wines, bears or locally made sodas. We would definitely do this tour again.
