Areni market in Armenia formerly known as Arpa, is best known for its famous wine production. It’s also home to the world’s oldest wine factory and has many wine shops with a variety of wine brands to choose from.
Areni barrel symbol is one of the places to pass by and take photos as it welcomes you to the world of the winery. This symbol is the most recognizable in the country believed to symbolize fertility and good fortune as barrels are very important tools used by Armenians in storing wines.
