Join our Local Cultural Association (registration fee is included, please send us the information required), join the group and go discovering the strong local identity that makes Lucca different from the rest of Tuscany: legends, towers, churches, powerful families and beautiful ladies protected by strong Walls.
The tour will be in English AND Italian: 2 languages = 2 qualified guides!

What To Expect
San Michele in Foro
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, meeting point is at the statue dedicated to Francesco Burlamacchi in Piazza San Michele, Lucca at 10,50am. The tour will last 2 hours and it's a walking tour. Togheter we will see the 'must see' of Lucca: Piazza Anfiteatro, Via Fillungo, the city Towers, San Michele Church, the Cathedral.. The tour will be in English OR Italian (2 separate groups)

5.00I took part in the Tour Lucca Classica at 11 am: a wonder! It 'was the guide, Sylvia, to make us discover the wonders of Lucca: history, palaces, churches, monuments, squares, streets and alleys, gastronomy,... in the time of a couple of hours.Silvia gave an answer to our curiosity, going further with explanations and anecdotes intriganti.Un pleasure his company! I could appreciate Lucca so much as to preserve a bit 'of nostalgia.

5.00Very good guide, very professional told us any, if I had time I would have done with her even the visit on the Templars, as I told her opened a world on Lucca beautiful city. He gave us as a suggestion to go to Villa Tucci ,to have tea or coffee in the afternoon,they opened a bar,so you can visit the beautiful interior. We of course went there and I felt noble for a while, took delicious herbal tea at a derisory price.

5.00We did this tour on Saturday 18 October and it was really interesting, also because we were accompanied by the guide Silvia, a person who in addition to being nice and helpful in 'listening to the various questions was able in just two hours to explain, and make us understand, the history of Lucca with its monuments. An experience that I recommend to do Andrea Magliacano
