• Amazing Waterfall Tour!!!

  The tour with Smartway to see the Tumpak Sewu waterfall was a fantastic time. Our driver was great at making sure we had what we needed and felt comfortable during the ride through the scenic terrain to get to the waterfall. The local guide we were paired with was absolutely phenomenal, and showed us to a great time hiking into the waterfall where we were surrounded by the mesmerizing flowing water and mist from all sides. While you definitely get soaking wet, somehow our guide was able to still capture some great photos and video of us! He then showed us to several other beautiful falls and the Tetes Grotto further in the canyon. Our guide had even created a custom video (on the spot) of snippets from the day’s hike and sent it to us at the end of the tour — it looked as if we hired a professional videographer! This was above and beyond our expectations. On top of it all, the guide even let us try a few delicious local snacks (fried tofu and banana) after the hike up and out of the canyon. Highly recommend this tour, and this company, to anyone looking to experience the serenity of Tumpak Sewu!

  Fantastic experience. I’ve been to Bali a few times but decided to visit some more of Indonesia and I’m so glad I did. Tampuk Sewu is a must see! The tour was really good, the guide got us all the pictures and videos we could ever need and we had a great time. Would highly recommend.

• Adventurous and fun day in waterfalls

  One of my favorite memories from Indonesia! Waterfall hiking, exploring caves, seeing wild monkeys. Such an adventure! About 3-4 hours of actual hiking. The drive can be a bit long (2-3 hours) and though parts of the hike can seem a bit tricky/dangerous, the guide is super helpful and you can communicate to him if you want to skip a certain part (ie. I didn't go into the second cave because I didn't want to). Truly a super fun adventure that I'll remember forever though.

  The actual waterfall is beautiful.However, the trip involves a 2 1/2 hour car journey to get there and the same coming back. The trip comes with an English speaking guide . Our guide could not speak English. I am no more aware of the history or geography of the area now. The trip includes a visit to the caves which are the bottom of the falls. This involves an extremely vertical descent on a very narrow set of steps. The railing at the side is wobbly and has scees and bolts jutting out. At some points you have to Traverse the actual water falls . The scenery at the bottom is spectacular but the return journey to the top is exhausting,even for fit people ,and it's still equally dangerous. My advice,if you want to do this is pay for a grab at a fraction of the price to get you there and back and pay your own admission at the entrance
