Fun experience! Josuke imparted knowledge, passion and appreciation for this art and provided clear instructions so we could create our own. The matcha and mochi at the end were a nice surprise treat. He also was kind enough to not only help me look up a cafe to go to for decaf coffee (surprisingly hard to find in Japan) afterwards but walked me to Yasakanamba Shrine (where I wanted to visit and the cafe was near).

Loved this intimate experience and knowledge provided during this activity. It was the right mix of hands on, information, and fun! The added matcha making and tasting was an amazing surprise and something we wanted to do but could not previously! The space is clean and history/ philosophy was awesome!

I really enjoyed this Kintsugi workshop in Osaka! Jouske was a wonderful instructor—patient, clear in his explanations, and very supportive throughout the process. It was a relaxing and memorable hands-on experience, and I loved being able to bring home a unique piece I repaired myself. We also enjoyed matcha at the end, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Osaka.

Josuke was very passionate and knowledgeable about kintsugi. He was super friendly and showed us a new way to appreciate everything in not just ceramics, but in life as well. We were able to take home a piece that we helped to create to remember this experience forever. We even got to make matcha, which was also very fun! His workshop was a really unique, traditional Japanese space and he had pieces for sale in his gallery as well. Thank you for the memorable experience Josuke!
