The team has made every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. We have seen it very often now that the employees are there with a lot of vigour, but the operators let it down a bit. The ship is a bit old and especially the cabins belong renovated (cabinets smell musty), toilet covers belong replaced. In the cabinets where the life jackets are located is a thick layer of dust, as is the fan in the bathroom for the air vent is completely dirty. The food is OK, although the term barbecue is somewhat misleading in the program item. Also the welcome drink I missed, except the 2 small glasses of water in the cabin were meant. Drinks must be paid for yourself, but are fair in price. The thing that disappointed me the most, but will be the same with the providers everywhere, if you book 2 nights you assume that you are longer in the bay. The reality is: if not all travelers have exactly 2 nights and start at the same time (which is very unlikely) then you go out of the port on the first day, anchor in the bay and go back to the port early on the second day and the hips disembark and new ones are added. This takes about 2 hours in which you dock again in the port. I expect 2 nights to be able to enjoy the bay for at least 2 full days. Thus, the radius of action within the bay is significantly restricted and you also spend the night in the same place. The bay itself is clearly dirty by traffic and certainly also by the current. I was assured that cleaning ships were on their way. I haven't seen any. Instead, some ships in the port simply let their heavy oil-laced water run into the bay during the tourists' change. Nature still looks quite nice at first glance, as soon as you go ashore you can clearly see that nobody cares about the beaches. It should be in the interest of tour operators to change this. If I would do such a ride again then only if some points are clarified in advance regarding stay and program. you then have to pay significantly more but I think it is worth it. And for those who promise relaxation, make sure you don't end up on a ship with a karaoke and chair dance offer. This was fortunately not the case with this tour but in the evening when anchoring you can hear it clearly and see what is going on on the bigger boats.

We took the 2 day 1 night cruise on Lan Ha Bay and I can only recommend their service. We had a superb boat for a group of only 6 people in total being in low season. The boat can hold up to about 14 people so it’s still super correct compared to some companies. The room with amazing balcony, very comfortable and great bathroom. The meals included were very good and hearty, we had a lot to eat, even too much. On a slightly fairer drink (2 small bottles of water in the room after you have to pay) Our guide “Sun” was really top for these two days, crazy energy and always in a good mood. The whole crew was very friendly. The organization of the company was great from beginning to end. We were picked up in Hanoi at our hotel and similarly for the return, everything was smooth and connections without expectations.

An excellent two-day cruise that would have merited staying there for three. An exceptional site and a particularly efficient organization. Special thanks to Son and TD for their kindness

Overall: I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a unique and enjoyable getaway. Service: Sun, our host, was exceptional. Always radiating a genuine smile, he prioritized guest satisfaction with remarkable enthusiasm. His command of English was excellent, and he served as the main point of contact for all guests. The entire staff mirrored his warmth and professionalism, ensuring every need was met with care. Food: The meals exceeded expectations, especially considering the challenges of preparing food on a boat in the middle of the bay. While they strive to accommodate dietary restrictions, it’s worth noting that avoiding beef entirely might not always be possible. Each meal included an appetizer and concluded with fresh fruit, showcasing thoughtful planning. • Lunch (Day 1): Fried squid appetizer followed by duck pasta. • Dinner (Day 1): Crab cake and shrimp appetizer with stir-fried beef and rice. • Lunch (Day 2): Squid cake appetizer with chicken curry and rice. The bar offered an ample selection, though we opted to stick with beer and water. Activities: The curated activities were a highlight of the trip: • Kayaking: A breathtaking journey up a bay, through a cave, to a secluded cove. From there, we passed through another cave to reach an even more serene and idyllic cove, untouched by other tourists. Be aware that no formal instruction is provided, so come prepared. The kayaks were in decent condition and added to the adventure. • Biking: A picturesque ride to a local village, with the option to bike or take a golf cart one way or round trip. Along the way, we experienced a fish “massage,” where tiny fish nibbled at the dead skin on our feet—a strange but fun sensation! For the adventurous, there was also an opportunity to sample snake and eel liquor, which is not for the faint of heart. • Cooking Class: A delightful pre-dinner activity, learning to craft traditional Vietnamese rice rolls. • Swimming and Karaoke: These were offered, though we chose not to participate. Room: The accommodations were thoughtfully designed for comfort: • A cozy bed. • Fast hot water with impressive water pressure. • Efficient air conditioning, keeping the room surprisingly free of humidity. • Everything was clean, from the floors to the linens. The only minor drawback was the limited provision of water—just two 500ml bottles per day—but this did little to detract from the overall experience. Conclusion: From the attentive service to the immersive activities and comfortable accommodations, this was a journey to remember. If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate—it’s an experience you won’t regret.
