Salmon Ladder
One of the only visible salmon ladders on the island. When the Salmon are spawning this is where you can see thousands of salmon trying to swim up stream and spawn eggs

5.00This trip is great, everyone should book it. Leon was so interesting and full of knowledge. Don't book through the cruise line book direct with viator save money. This trip is a must see in Ketchikan

3.00Van was old and small and the windows were foggy so it made it hard to see out and see anything. We had to constantly wipe the windows with paper towels due to the rainy weather. Driver was great though and made the best of it. He took pictures for us and did explain the area. It killed time on a rainy day but we saw no wild life. It would probably be a great experience for a family outing on a nice day if you were all in the same van. Driver was efficient and communicated on pick up time and drop off locations etc.

5.00Leon was an excellent tour guide! He went out of his way to take panoramic pictures of each guest at various locations and he is good at it! He was very knowledgeable having grown up in Ketchikan and was able to answers various off th wall questions too! I highly recommend this tour and would do it again!!

5.00Leon was very friendly and helpful. We saw lovely scenery and even though we were late in the season for bear spotting, we stopped at some great spots to see seals and salmon. He took great photos for us too! Thanks for a great morning!

5.00It was 3 family members and Leon was our tour guide. Definitely worth the price for a private and custom tour. Leon is very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. He was able to show us where some of the animals & fish were hiding so we could get even better pictures. Would highly recommend tour!

Our main goal was to see bears—and thanks to Kara, we saw five! It was an unforgettable experience and truly the highlight of our entire cruise. Highly recommended!

5.00Leon, our naturalist and guide, is a Ketchikan native and his love and respect for Alaska is obvious. His knowledge was a great addition to the joy of seeing three bears in the wild (for the first time), a seal and lots of spawning salmon. We loved it and will book this company again on our next trip to Alaska.
