One of the only visible salmon ladders on the island. When the Salmon are spawning this is where you can see thousands of salmon trying to swim up stream and spawn eggs

5.00Kara was an exceptional tour guide who tailored our experience perfectly to our interests. Her deep knowledge of the area and its wildlife really enhanced the tour. Our main goal was to see bears—and thanks to Kara, we saw five! It was an unforgettable experience and truly the highlight of our entire cruise. Highly recommended!

5.00So no wild life is a guarantee but Leon our tour guide was so knowledgeable and took us right to where we could see a bear and her two cubs. A bald eagle flew by and then we saw two deer. He showed us a ton of salmon and I got to home a starfish at the beach. Leon was so knowledgeable about Ketchikan and I learned so much from him. The tour is in a van so not a ton of people which is nice because you get to ask questions. He was very responsive to text messages and picked us up right at the gangway of our ship and dropped us off near places to eat at our request. We were only there from 7-1230 and this tour picked us up at 9 and we were done at 1130. Leon was amazing. Definitely recommend this tour and it was much more cost effective than the bus tours the cruise ship offered.

5.00This is a small newer tour company. We were treated with a private tour by Kara. She was accommodating and informative. Kara texted before her early arrival and explained the history of the area as we drove around. She was able to get us a close view of a bear and salmon. We would book again!
