We picked the expedited trip and it was perfect. Both Kabah and Uxmal were so interesting and Glendi our tour guide was well educated and versed on the two sites. Great tour

Guide was very knowledgeable. An amazing experience to see the Mayan ruins. Over the years we have been to chichen itsa and Ek Bakam. This site is as good. We’ll worth the trip

The tour guide was friendly, communicative, energetic, passionate and knowledgeable. All services and experiences listed were provided and it was well worth the money and didn’t feel rushed. Pick-up was prompt and check-in was smooth. It was fun to see the ruins and learn about some of the archaeology site history/Mayan history. I would definitely take a tour with the company who ran this tour in the future when I visit Mexico again. It was very professional and memorable.

Uxmal and Kabah were fascinating sites, but unfortunately, we cannot recommend this tour. The tour operator had indicated that we would meet at a central departure point at 7:30 am, but it was not until an hour later that we were finally on our way to Uxmal. When members of our group expressed frustration at the delayed departure, the guide (Carolina) was defensive and would not even provide an estimated time for departure. She even told one of the other guests that she was “ruining” the tour. Although Carolina was polite to us, we were very put off by her unprofessional behaviour and disregard for our time. We missed a late afternoon reservation we had made at a restaurant in Merida because the tour was so late in getting back. We also found her commentary hard to follow, as she was rambling on and going on tangents while quickly switching between English and Spanish. Most egregiously, she purchased lower-prices Mexican resident tickets at Uxmal for some of the non-Mexican/Spanish-speaking members of the group even though she had asked them to pay the higher foreigner/tourist price to her in cash in the morning, effectively pocketing the difference herself. It was clear that this was deliberate on her part because the group members asked her about this and she dismissed them. When one of the staff at Uxmal asked one of those group members if he was Mexican and he said no, we then had to wait for the guide to go back and get the proper ticket, causing even more delay.
