5.00I had an amazing tour! First off it was going to be a long hot day and I wanted to go to the Great Egyptian Museum afterwards so I did opt out of the shop and bazar option as well as lunch. My tour guide and driver were amazing. I learned so much about the varies locations we visited and their history my guide was incredibly knowledgeable and he truly enjoyed what he did which made my experience even more remarkable.

5.00Pickup from our hotel was in an air conditioned minibus and our tour started promptly. Our tour guide was great, would take photos for us and gave us some great insight into the earlier dynasties in Egypt associated with the sites we visited. Our stand out part of the trip was going inside the Bent Pyramid. However, this will not be for everybody!! It consists of going down a 86m shaft (while crouched) then a stairway up and then an even smaller shaft to crawl through. Me and my boys LOVED it! In addition to the bent pyramid in Dahshur, you get to see the black and white pyramids (from a distance) & the red pyramid (option to go in there as well). You then briefly visit Memphis (not much there in comparison but still worth a visit), then visit the stepped Pyramid and Necropolis in Sakkara - just wow! So much history is covered here and the guide was so helpful! The whole tour is less touristy compared to other excursions we have been on in Cairo (Giza Pyramids/ Museums/ Citadel etc) and you see more of rural Cairo with all of the Date palms. Highly recommend this trip if you have time. Lunch was a buffet style bbq thing (landed well with the family) and no “surprise” visits to silver shops/ spice/ fragrance shops! I would recommend selecting the option “with tickets” as there were so many different tickets needed, just make your life easier here and the cost seemed reasonable to be fair!

5.00We chose the driver only option as read up on the sites beforehand and it suited us perfectly! We were free to explore ik our own time and tempo and our driver Ahmed was amazing. Kind and reliable and gave us great tips for walking around the sites, what to expect and helped with buying the tickets! I feel he went above and beyond helping us navigate. Do not miss imhotep museum and unas pyramid in saccara next to the Djoser Step-pyramid. My partner went down the Bent pyramid in Dashour for the adventure experience. Price included in entrance ticket. It was very physically straining as it is a steep and narrow climb about 100 down but a cool experience he said. Highly recomend this experience! Very happy with our driver Ahmed!

5.00A lovely day, practically alone and with Ali DE chauffeur, polite and very attentive. Sakkara and Zoser surprise and the red pyramid ufff. 75 meters downhill, abstain claustrophobic
