Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and most impressive of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Standing at 146.6 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu, it is a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and precision. The pyramid originally featured a smooth limestone casing, reflecting sunlight and giving it a brilliant appearance. 5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the Giza tour experience that included the pyramids, camel ride, Sphinx and a delicious local lunch. Our guide Jimmy was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He covered so many topics across ancient and modern Egypt. He also took amazing photos and stopped at all the right vantage points.

5.00I had them picked up at Cairo airport, saw the pyramids and the Sphinx and then picked up and dropped off at the hotel. Travel and sightseeing efficiently in a short time. Dina, a female English guide, had good taste and showed me lots of places to take great photos. I am grateful that I was able to take so many good photos. I didn't add the camel option when I booked, but Dina's good sales pitch got me on board. It was more expensive than the market price, but it was a good memory.
Ahmed was the best tour guide we have had in Egypt!

5.00Unforgettable Giza/ Pyramid and Sphinx Experience with Ahmed! Our tour with Ahmed in Giza was hands down the highlight of our entire holiday. From the moment we met him, he was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and so friendly. He spoke excellent English, making everything easy to follow and understand. What really set Ahmed apart was his eye for photography — he knew exactly where to stand for the best shots, and helped us capture some truly amazing memories. It was like having a personal photographer along with a top-tier guide! He also took us to a fantastic local restaurant to try authentic Egyptian food — we had the Koshari, and it was easily one of the best meals of our trip. No tourist traps, no pressure to buy anything — just a genuinely well-curated, authentic experience. His driver was also excellent — smooth, safe, and punctual. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. If you're looking for a guide in Giza who is experienced, personable, and passionate about their job, look no further.
