Pyramids of Giza
Meet your Guide in the Lobby of your hotel 9:00 am, heading to Begin this half-day tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx straight from your hotel in Cairo. Head toward the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus and discover the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists believe the Pyramid of Cheops (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza) was built as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khofo and constructed over a 14 to 20-year period in 2560 BC. During the Tour ,you will ride your camel for 25 Minutes, your guide will help you to take some photos for your Trip. Note : There is possibility of entering any of the pyramids from inside the Great pyramid or any Pyramid of Giza you want included for Camel ride.

5.00PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE from beginning to the end (booking through the TripAdvisor to coming back to the hotel after the tour) HUGE “THANK YOU” to our absolutely WONDERFUL tour guide HAIDY & driver MINO LOTFY for taking great care of us! My husband and I had an unforgettable day! Firstly we were contacted promptly by both the tour guid and the driver through WhatsApp right after booking- they introduced themselves and let us know how the tour would go. Driver Mino picked us up on time at our hotel at St Regis. Comfortable clean car. He is a very safe driver even in the absolute craziness of Cairo traffic. He stopped to get us water and small Egyptian snack (cookies) without asking. That was very nice of him. He also let us know and slowed the car down on the approach to pyramids where the video would be good to take- Then we picked up our tour guide Haidy, gracious, very knowledgeable and very friendly young lady. She was very polite and informative, she took lots of great pictures of us. She took care of all tickets and showed us the best spots for photography. She explained even smallest details and answered million questions we had. We got to visit lots of sights- the great pyramid, the sphinx, and other pyramids in Giza. We stopped for a delicious lunch at local restaurant with delicious buffet/coffee/desserts. We also learned about process of making a papyrus, and stopped by at a local jewelry/decor store and learned about cartush (not sure about English spelling of it) making, and our name writing in ancient Egyptian (hieroglyphs). We went to Memphis, the museum and the oldest pyramid (5.000 y/o), visited burial chambers of kings and high novelty/priests. We rode camels to the pyramids, and had an absolute blast- camel guide was very nice too, handled camels great for us (we had zero concerns), and took ton of pictures for us! The day was absolutely fantastic! And unforgettable! Thank you again - Haidy & Mino. We were brought back to hotel safely around sunset time. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO ALL

1.00Viator clearly does not have a handle on tous and events here in Egypt. Two events have been exactly like this. I booked, I pay, I contact the vendor day before and day of, and they don't show up or say anything. I don't recommend trusting Viator for tours in Egypt. Don't chance it.

1.00Paid $88 usd for this. They did not show up at hotel or call. Tired to call number but number does not work. Asked for refund I was only given $8 refund. Viator, sent some generic emails but have not made any effort to get my money back! Do not use this company they will scan you.

1.00Very disappointing- tour guide Heidi was not knowledgeable at all, she even got some common facts wrong. Tour also took us to shops that such as making ancient characters names such an overpriced scam! The company is very poor with communication. Don’t choose this company !
