What To Expect
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Ubud Monkey Forest, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed macaque. About 1260 monkeys live in this sanctuary. They are divided into 10 groups, namely in front of main temple group, forest conservation group, central point group, eastern group, michelin group, ashram group, atap and cemeteries group. Sacred Monkey Forest Ubud is a famous tourist attraction in Ubud. In every month around 10,000–15,000 visitors come to Monkey Forest Ubud. The Monkey Forest Ubud has 186 species of plants and trees in 12,5 hectares of forest. The Monkey Forest Ubud has 3 temples, namely Dalem Agung Padangtegal Temple, Holy Spring Temple and Prajapati Temple.
The palace was the official residence of the royal family of Ubud. Located in the center of Ubud, close to the Ubud Art Market, cafes, restaurants, and other arts centers. This palace still boasts pristine Balinese architecture, boasting magnificent and well-maintained architecture, making it a popular photo spot, showcasing its exotic gateway.

5.00Beautiful experience and well organized! The monkey forest was fun and impressive, the rice paddy really relaxing and the waterfall just spectacular. A complete tour that allows you to discover the most authentic nature of the place. Highly recommended!

5.00I'm so grateful we crossed paths with Swad on our first full day in Bali. We had a lot of plans, and expectations as our time in Ubud was limited. He went above and beyond to provide us with a timely, efficient and informative service. We felt he was genuine and authentic and we got more out of him than just driving us around. He had a good balance of providing information along the way and knew when to give us a break. One of our favourite part was him providing us a valuable insight into Balinese culture, family structure and cultural and religious norms and expectations. İn our short stay in Bali, we used Swad twice and sure we'll contact him again for our next trip. Highly recommended.

5.00Besides transporting us between cities, Swad arranged two great excursions for our group. He made all the arrangements for snorkeling in Padangbai and ensured a seamless experience. The highlight of our trip was a visit he arranged to a traditional Balinese house and small domestic Luwak coffee 'refinery'. Great coffee and tea tasting. An absolute bonus is that he is a great photograph who documents your day and shares pics freely. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

5.00Swad was an incredible guide, professional, friendly and full of knowledge. He will curate your day trip in Ubud according to your preferences - for us, it was a water purification ceremony followed by a Luwak coffee tasting set in a traditional Balinese house located in a jungly valley. Beautiful. He took us for numerous day trips during our 2 weeks in Bali and they turned out to be the highlights of our trip. He guided us through our experiences and we learnt so much about Balinese culture we would have otherwise never have known. He truly goes above and beyond, always having your best interests at heart. He’s pictures are amazing too! I highly recommend Swad.

5.00This was our first trip to Bali and couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Swad. He made everything easy, fun and stress free from start to finish. He took us on an unforgettable day trip to GWK and Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Fire Dance at Melasti Beach. Swad was amazing with our boys too with his funny jokes. He is not only an awesome tour guide but a fantastic photographer! He took lots of memorable family photos for us. We highly recommend Swad when travelling to Bali.
