  Based on the positive feedbacks from other travellers to book Sofía Ventura as a private guide my spouse and I booked her too for a tour to the Real Alcázar and the visit to the Cathedral. During the three hours tour Sofía gave us a lot of detailed information, for example historical facts, architectural styles, the use and development of the buildings as well as about famous people and artists.   We spent most of the day with Sophia. We have never had a guide that was so willing to help with so many extraneous items, from assisting us in getting reservations, train tickets, etc. She was exceptionally responsive from weeks before our meeting, through our tour. She even suggested some guides for us in other locations.. The tour of Alcázar and the cathedral were wonderful. So many details we would never have discovered on our own. Always interesting and very aware of what we were enjoying and when we wanted to linger. We would highly recommend using Sophia as your guide. You will be lucky to have chosen her.

  Sofia was an amazing guide from start to finish. We booked so many months ago and she started communicating immediately to let us know she was happy we booked with her. She took the time to learn about us, asking many questions about our journey, what we had planned both before and after her tour, what we liked, etc. She was on time, very prompt, and spoke perfect English. She was engaging, organized, and very informative. We so enjoyed our time with her and wished it hadn’t ended. Best tour we’ve taken in Portugal and Spain. She is very warm and engaging. Her love for her city and the history was evident. Don’t hesitate booking a tour with Sofia!

• Excellent Tour of Seville’s Two Most Famous Historical Sites

  My wife and I took a private 3 hour tour, with Sofia Ventura, of the Catedral de Seville and the Real Alcazar de Seville (approximately 1.5 hours at each site). We found Sofia to be very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. She went at our pace and provided the level of detail regarding each historical site that we preferred. We highly recommend Sofia if you are looking for a well coordinated and relaxing tour. We also recommend starting your tour in the morning so that it ends by early afternoon (prior to the heat of the day).

  This was an excellent tour. It last about 2 hours. Our tour guide Sofia is the best. She is very knowledgeable about the history, point what’s more important and friendly. She is from Sevilla, which add to the experience since she share stories about the Sevilla, the culture, etc. Highly recommended.

  Sophie was an outstanding guide. The pace was great and the dialogue was very nice as Sophie speaks very good English with no difficulty understanding her. She knew her way around Alcázar and the Cathedral. She managed to get us in to the cathedral ahead of all others that provided for amazing pictures with no people in them. I strongly recommend that you select Sophie as your guide and have her help you obtain the tickets for the correct times. I made a mistake and bought admission tickets from a third party that was a disaster. Sophie helped resolve the issues I was having with the ticket seller ( I don’t want to name the ticket seller here because this review is about a strong endorsement and recommendation for Sophie). Please select Sophie as you will enjoy your tour with her.

  Our private tour with Sofia Ventura was excellent well before the actual tour and after it ended. Sofia contacted us in advance asking about our previous travel experiences and preferences. After the tour, she followed up with additional information that had come up in conversation. Sofia was extremely knowledgeable about both historical and cultural aspects of the two sites we visited as well as of the city of Seville in general.

  Sofia did a wonderful job. Her communication in English before and during the tour was superb. She sent links in advance to enable me to buy tickets for palace and cathedral in advance to avoid queueing. Sofia was entertaining, charming and hugely knowledgeable of all things of Seville and its history. A really lovely person who brought to life two beautiful buildings.
