Malaga
Begin your journey with convenient pickup from your selected meeting point in Malaga (city center meeting point, or cruise terminal - depending on the option selected). Board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach and relax for the scenic journey to Granada. Note: Driver only during transport - a host will greet you in Granada, and your official guide will meet you at the Alhambra.

Upon arrival in Granada, you will have a period of free time before your scheduled entry into the Alhambra complex. This is a great opportunity to grab a quick coffee or a bite to eat.

Interesting sight but messy group management

4.00The sight itself is worth the visit and Nasri Palace, in my opinion, is the highlight. Tour guide Mercedes is very patient when sharing her knowledgeable but I think she can improve on the way she managed the group. Instead of gathering everyone at each commentary point before sharing her knowledge with us she continuously walked and talked. Those walking closely with her were able to match audio commentary and visuals. Those lagging behind can still hear her because of the radio headsets but missed out on the visual. There were only 18 of us. She did not do periodic headcount and some of us momentarily lost her throughout the tour and I don’t think she even realised it. Our Nasrid Palace tour was better after we adjusted to her practice.

5.00We had a driver pick us up in Malaga and then joined a group at Alhambra with Patricia leading us through the property. It was super valuable to have a guide explain the history and significance of each of the areas of the vast property to understand the purpose and evaluation of each of the areas in past cultures and modern day preservation. highly recommend

5.00Wish we could have had the palace included but we enjoyed our tour anyway . Our guide, Luis , was a native of Granada and very well versed in art, architecture and history . The gardens were lovely and yellow/orange trees for the fall . Easy van ride from Malaga and time to see the cathedral before we entered Alhambra.

3.00Alahambra is a nice city to visit but this was an expensive tour. Ronda was a third of the price and just as good. Also the tour guide didn't show us how to get back to where we were to be picked up at the end. We went the wrong way and had to climb up a very steep hill to get back to where we were supposed to be going.

5.00It’s a hugh place! Even with many tourists on a Saturday there were places of quiet. Our tour guide Sandra gave a comprehensive review of the history. Many places are free to visit. She gave recommendations of where to explore during our free time.
