Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience. Our artisan ceramics workshop is accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The opportunity to try your hand at this craft tradition will create a unique and memorable experience. The workshop includes sharing pottery decoration techniques and fun.
Visit our workshop, learn about ceramics and try it yourself. Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment.
Wendy’s exhibited her work in Europe and North America, including at the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum and the American Craft Council craft shows. Her work is part of permanent museums and private collections in North America and Europe

What To Expect
Make Your Own Artisan Cup Come and have fun. Learn how to hand build your very own artisan ceramic cup. Visit our workshop, learn about ceramics and try it yourself! Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment. What you’ll learn and what we’ll do. You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques. Let the fun begin. Out come the aprons, clay and tools to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and personalise your own artisan cup. You’ll learn skills ceramists use when sculpting by hand. After your cup is complete you will learn to texture and add decorations. No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you. No prior ceramics experience is necessary. Your Finished Artisan Cup Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona: Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL. Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your cup and select a finished handmade cup made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.

5.00Wendy and Eric are lovely. They explain everything with great patience and dedication. The workshop is very cool and I highly recommend it to spend a good time with friends, plus you make your own piece with their help. I recommend it and would definitely repeat.

5.00We really enjoyed this experience, Wendy and Eric created a great atmosphere. It was super fun to create our own cups. Wendy was very kind and patient explaining and demonstrating different ceramic techniques and decoration options. They even took photos of us during the process, so we could have nice memories of this day. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable class!

5.00I had such a wonderful time at the ceramic cup workshop with Wendy and Eric :) They are really professional, but also warm and friendly people who want to make sure that you feel comfortable and happy! From the moment you walk in, there’s a feeling of a cosy and beautiful atmosphere in their lovely studio and shop. Eric does a short introduction about their shop and the process of making a ceramic piece. Wendy is doing a magnificent work with teaching, she’s really patient and funny, so you’ll laugh a lot during this 2,5 hours of the workshop. I was really satisfied with my cup and can’t wait to see how it will look after it’s fired and done :) One of the best experiences I had in Barcelona <3

5.00We had such a wonderful time at this workshop! My husband and I joined a class with Wendy and Eric, and it was an amazing experience. We learned different clay techniques, created our own pots (the good thing is that you yourself decide on the size of your pot and get almost an infinite supply of clay), and got a real feel for the whole process. Wendy and Eric were kind, welcoming, and made the atmosphere relaxing and inspiring. It was the perfect mix of creativity, learning, and great conversation. Highly recommended!

5.00It has been quite some time since I produced anything even semi-artistic, However Eric and Wendy were exceptionally patient with me made me feel right at home. Their passion for what they do is visible from the minute you step in the door. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this to anyone regardless of skill level (I was clearly the most unexperienced attendee but still had a blast!). Thanks Eric & Wendy - Keep doing what you do!

5.00This is such an enjoyable activity where you learn tachniques of hand making a ceramic cup AND you can take one home with you! I am definitely going to check out their plant holder class! Wendy and Eric are fantastic guides into the world of ceramics!
