Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience. Our artisan ceramics workshop is accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The opportunity to try your hand at this craft tradition will create a unique and memorable experience. The workshop includes sharing pottery decoration techniques and fun. You will make a ceramic planter. Make your own flower pot.
Wendy and her husband Eric are the founders of Taller Gingell. Reviewed as "a new generation of exceptional artisans" and highlighted as "artisan projects you should know in the fashion world" according to Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveller, RTVE Radio Spanish National TV and Radio and others.
Wendy’s exhibited her work in Europe and North America, including at the Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barcelona Design Museum and the American Craft Council craft shows. Her work is part of permanent museums and private collections in North America and Europe.

What To Expect
Make Your Own Ceramic Planter. Come and have fun. Learn how to hand build your very own ceramic planter. Visit our workshop, learn about ceramics and try it yourself! Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment. What you’ll learn and what we’ll do. You will learn about ceramics, different clays and decoration techniques. Let the fun begin. Out come the aprons and clay to get your hands dirty. Hands on, you will make and personalise your own ceramic planter. You’ll learn skills ceramists use when sculpting by hand. After your planter is complete you will learn to texture and add decorations. No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you. No prior ceramics experience is necessary. Your Finished Planter Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. So we offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona: Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL. Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your planter and select a finished planter made by Taller Gingell to take home as a memory.

5.00Hello! I really liked Wendy and Eric's workshop. You can make your pot and paint it in the same workshop. Besides, it is handmade, which is easier than with the machine. I did ceramic workshops before but you could only make the pot or it was already made and you could only paint it. I liked the outfit! Eric and Wendy are very kind!

5.00I went with a friend and we both loved the experience. You can tell that Eric and Wendy are passionate about what they do and that they move it to their workshops, they are super nice and attentive, they explain everything great and, although it was our first time making ceramics, their advice helped us a lot. The 2 1/2 hours flew past us. It was very entertaining and we had some very cool pots left! 100% recommend it:)
