What To Expect

Escape the crowds and ride deep into the Esterillos mountains. Our ATV/UTV tours are intentionally limited, offering a quiet, uncrowded experience through raw terrain, forest trails, and panoramic viewpoints. This is a slower-paced, higher-quality ride designed for those who value space, nature, and comfort. ATVs Age Requirements: • Drivers: 16+ with a valid driver’s license. • Passengers: 6+ • Maximum age: 70 years UTV Age Requirements: Drivers: 18–70 years (valid driver’s license required). Passengers: 4–70 years

Great trip through the hills outside Playa Bejuco. Micah was a great host and story teller. We enjoyed the hike to the falls and the well chosen restaurant with a priceless view off the beaten path.

As soon as we arrived at the Ranch Micha introduced us to the resident sloths and we knew we were in good hands. The drive to the waterfalls was full of stunning views and he carefully navigated the mountain tracks. Micha was incredibly relaxed and patient as he guided us up to three separate, beautiful pools for swimming. He was also really interesting and a great talker. The beer at the Mirador Dondes Andreas with its views was the icing on the cake. This was one of our best experiences in Costa Rica and we can’t recommend it enough.

The BEST horseback riding experience we have ever had by far!!! ! Sylwvia was amazing. Not only does she take excellent care of her horses she makes the ride so much fun. The horses were well behaved and super sweet!! The view of the beautiful Costa Rica ocean from the beach was amazing. We can’t wait to come back and ride here again!! Thanks for a fantastic ride!!! We had a great time with CR Beach Barn. No one in our family has any riding experience. We were matched with horses that were gentle and had great dispositions. Our guide, Julia, led us on a beautiful ride along the beach. She was friendly and pleasant to chat with. We had a great time!

This was an amazing ride! The horses are wonderful and calm, we rode on a beautiful beach and Sylvia was a great guide. She knows her stuff and is very respectful of her horses!

My cousin, sister and I rode on the beach yesterday at 4:00, Sunday, January 29. Sylvia matched us up with the proper horse. I was the least experienced, my cousin has ridden horses all her life and my sister somewhere in the middle. The horses are in great shape, do not have a bit and are lovely to ride. This is a place that truly loves their horses and definitely takes good care of them. The beach we rode on was lovely and WIDE. We rode a bit in the surf, across a small river and along the beach road enjoying the houses along the way, but mostly on the beach. Lots of shore birds, people surf casting, families playing in the water. It’s a great beach if you’d like to go swimming. They even have a sloth living in the tree on their property. FYI. You do not need to be an experienced rider to enjoy this activity. We’re staying in CR 5 weeks and, except for our birdwatching tours, this was my most enjoyable activity. I highly recommend it for all ages.
