The tour got cancel by tour company due to weather issues. I didn’t have chance to experience the glass window house and service. The app keeps pop up tour reminder notification. Looks like the system didn’t received the update from tour company. Hopefully I do receive refund.

Stella was great about communicating pick up times. She was kind enough to switch our date due to illness. The glass house is brand new and the floor to ceiling windows are impressive. She let us know when the Aurora seemed to be getting brighter and was patient in taking multiple portraits of each visitor, but making sure everyone got a turn.

The house was very nice. Unfortunately, the clouds prevented us from seeing the lights. 😞. I’d rebook but the weather is not cooperating.

I booked in the morning. They didn't pick up where I was staying so they were contacted and replied with the nearest pickup point. I made airline and hotel reservations and flew from Anchorage. They texted to cancel and asked if I wanted to rebook for the next day. So, they cancelled about 8 hours after they were contacted but wanted to reschedule for about 30 hours in the future. Hmm. I can't cancel within 24 hours. The next morning on my way to the airport, the taxi driver said he had seen impressive northern lights the night before. I guess I should have booked with the taxi driver.

When we arrived at the first cabin the building was cold and had no liquid hand soap in the bathroom the building is showing its age. However since the fog rolled in we did not stay long. We moved to a second location where he has a new building that was not yet complete but very nice and he started the heaters for us so we could warm up when needed. The lights were seeable and he showed us how to set up our iPhones to take pictures of the Aurora’s. When he heard of a better view we again loaded up after about 1/2 hour there. When we got to the new site on the side of the road the Aurora’s were outstanding!!! He did a great job in trying to give us the best viewing experiences. We hear of people on our cruise ship who did the cruise lines Aurora experience and were disappointed as they were taken to one spot and the fog eliminated their opportunity to see the aurora’s. So they did not see any and paid more than us. We felt very lucky our guide moved us around to see as many as we did.
