Dog sledding is a very special experience for those of us living in the tropics. The travel agency provides free pick-up and drop-off service. The staff are very friendly, and the dogs are very affectionate. A highly recommended itinerary.

Our dog sled ride was very memorable. Jake, our musher, was very friendly and entertaining. Very informative of the area. He takes great care of his dogs. David, our driver, was a very friendly and took lovely pictures. it was my wife’s 30th birthday and it was an adventure we will never forget.!

We’re honestly very disappointed with this experience. The setup was not what we expected at all. There’s no actual facility, no designated parking, no restroom, no waiting area. The “meeting point” was just a back road/off-road location. It felt unorganized from the start. When we arrived, we were told the dogs were still out on another trip and we had to wait. No one mentioned any delays beforehand. Once the dogs came back, we found out there were only two sleds available. There were six people in our group and another group of three. With only two sleds running, it was obvious we’d be waiting in rotations for a while. We were then told we’d have to shorten the ride to about 20 minutes per group to accommodate everyone. That’s not what we booked or expected. When we raised concerns about the wait, the setup, and the shortened ride time, the musher told us they’re “just a small company” and that we shouldn’t expect them to operate like commercial ones. That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Being a small company doesn’t excuse poor planning, overbooking, or misrepresenting what customers can expect. Given everything — the location, the delays, the reduced ride time, and how our concerns were handled — we decided not to go through with the activity at all. This was not the experience that was advertised, and had we known the actual conditions, we wouldn’t have booked. Proceed with caution

Bundle up more than you think you should. The dogs are way faster than I thought possible and it was colder than I imagined. So much fun and the dogs were delightful happy to be loved on after pulling us. The humans were full of usual information about not only their dog team and sledding, but the local area as well. Our sled driver had a great sense of humor.

Memorable experience it was! Also, the team still accommodated me despite such short notice. David & Jake were both great. But definitely the pack stole the show! Will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the Alaskan sledding culture and hospitality.
