My son & I had a wonderful time. Gina & Donnie were our guides for the night. Tony had a pipe burst and so they filled in for him. Right from the start they made us feel comfortable. We had a small group which was fantastic. The ice museum & the hot springs were not crowded the night we went (Sunday) which was very fortunate for us. We were able to really enjoy the both experiences and were able to take lots of photos and ask plenty of questions. We had a wonderful dinner at the Lodge. Gina was able to reserve a table for our group which was awesome because it can get busy. Unfortunately, mother nature didn’t want to cooperate. It had been snowing most of the day and was cloudy so we did not see the Northern Lights. Honestly, the hot springs and the ice museum are the main attraction for this tour so I really wasn’t disappointed. Gina was great & explained everything to us. She really tried her best to find a location where we might have a chance to see the Northern Lights on our way back to our hotels. When going on this tour definitely don’t forget your bathing suit, towel, shower shoes, and quarters. They have towels you can rent for $5 and replace when they get wet as often as needed. Also, don’t forget to drink plenty of water before going into the hot springs.

Christopher was an exceptional guide/host. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and a just a joy to be with for the tour. The Aurora wasn't out that night but we were absolutely not disappointed in the least. The Chena Hot Spring was awesome, the ice museum was incredible and the dinner we ate was one of the very best we ate during our stay in Fairbanks. As we were returning, Chris went out of his way to show us the pipeline when we asked about it. This is a don't miss tour and for this one, even if the night is cloudy and the Aurora isn't viewable, it is still an excellent tour.

Had the best Northern Lights tour experience with my family. TONY was a great tour guide from booking to finish. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual with pick up. He was very informative on the city, history of Fairbanks and Auroras. He drove very well during the tour and made us feel comfortable touring the city. We were taken to multiple viewing locations and got great views of the lights. He didn't give up on the search and was very accommodating. He provided us hand warmers and snacks during rest stops. He also offered to take out photos. I'm glad we booked him at the beginning of the trip because he boosted our confidence driving our rental around there after! Definitely recommend booking Tony, his TikToks are great as well. Thank you Tony!

Whenever I book these tours, I begin with a focus on the activities and once the tour is completed I find that I am equally affected by the people I shared the experience with. In this case, Tony, our tour guide is really the one element that made this tour so special. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, well rounded, and fun. He poured so much energy into the tour from the moment he picked everyone up and had us loaded in his car until the minute he dropped us off 7+ hours later. This tour packs SO much in one outing and it is worthwhile just for that reason alone but much more than the individual experiences of the hot springs (Amazing!) or ice museum, what this tour gives is an opportunity to really see, understand, and relate to Fairbanks, and Alaska more generally, through a really kind and entertaining local. From the start, he took.care of every detail, provided encouragement, humor, stories, water, quarters for the lockers…what more can you ask for?! Oh and he didn’t stop driving to different spots until we finally saw the lights.!!! 10/10 don’t think twice; you can thank me later; you’re welcome !

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Chena Hot Springs and Northern Lights tour, and it was made even better by our tour guide Christopher. He was incredibly patient, extremely knowledgeable, and truly understood what tourists need to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience to the fullest. From sharing helpful information to making sure everyone was taken care of, the guide went above and beyond. Seeing the Northern Lights and relaxing at Chena Hot Springs was unforgettable, and the smooth, well-organized tour made it stress-free and enjoyable. We strongly recommend signing up for a tour with Tour Fairbanks whenever you visit the area, this experience was worth every penny.

Had an AMAZING time. Got a great guide Tony. He was knowledgeable, funny, and charismatic. We all had a really fun experience with him. The pick up and drive over was smooth and we did the ice museum took some great photos, then went had dinner at the restaurant which was allright but the company made the meal better. and then we all relaxed and had a good long soak in the hot springs where we saw the fireworks for new years and also we saw the aurora too!! It was magical to say the least. And then we spent a couple hours chasing the aurora with a little success but no where near the aurora we saw at the hot springs. but we still had a great time. 10/10 if you have the means I highly recommend its a worry free good time. no stress no mess. relax and enjoy.

Amazing experience! The hot springs are incredible. Tony, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable, fun and keeps the energy high! I would not waste your money on a glass cup and Appletini. They run out of glasses and the Appletini is premade. Bring shower shoes for the locker room. Tony supplied us with water and two quarters for the locker room. We also able to see the Norther lights. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The hot spring was relaxing and well-timed, and the Northern Lights viewing exceeded expectations. Tony was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic. He explained the science and local context clearly, kept the group organized, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible experience. His timing and instincts paid off, and we were rewarded with incredible views of the lights. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially with Tony as your guide.
