This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We visited the ice bar and enjoyed a delicious apple tini, relaxed in the hot springs, had a wonderful meal at the restaurant, and—best of all—got to see the Northern Lights! It felt like the perfect Fairbanks winter night. Tony truly made the experience special. The tour was very intimate and small-group, literally just me and one other gal who I made friends with, which made it so much better than the larger tours out there. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and easy to talk to. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in supporting a local, family-owned business. On the way back, he even stopped at several spots so we could take photos, which we really appreciated. And halfway through the tour I realized—I recognized him from YouTube! That just added to the fun. I can’t recommend Tony enough. If you want a personal, well-run tour with great vibes and unforgettable memories, this is it. An excellent experience all around!

This was my favorite tour and we did a lot for the price! The reviews about Tony was actually the reason I booked this tour. And they were right! Tony is the kindest tour guide and really makes sure you have the greatest experience possible. He taught us a lot about life in Alaska on the drive to Chena Hot Springs. The ice museum was fine, we skipped the dinner (brought our own snacks) and went to the hot springs. The hot springs were phenomenal. Tony knows all the secret spots to find the northern lights. We stopped in 3 locations and finally around 2am they came out and danced for us. He snapped a few pics of us with the northern lights. You could take this tour of the ice museum, hot springs, and northern lights w any other company but what made this tour truly special was the tour guide Tony. He really made an effort in making sure everyone was well taken care of and having a good time. I wouldn’t have wanted to go with anyone else.

We had Chris as our tour host. What a delightful host. Full of stories and experiences in Alaska and Fairbanks. TourFairbanks had many places to be picked up. We were the last to get in the van. It was a nice group of people and we became fast friends. Chena Hot Springs restaurant was a hot mess that night. They forgot we were waiting to be served. It ended up being a big delay, not our tour hosts fault - stuff happens and it didn’t dampen our spirits or experience. We saw the lights. It was a spectacular show, the best in 15-20 years by the local residents estimations. On our way back we stopped at 2 different locations to gaze upon the lights again. Back to our tour & host, great job. Highly recommend.

My son & I had a wonderful time. Gina & Donnie were our guides for the night. Tony had a pipe burst and so they filled in for him. Right from the start they made us feel comfortable. We had a small group which was fantastic. The ice museum & the hot springs were not crowded the night we went (Sunday) which was very fortunate for us. We were able to really enjoy the both experiences and were able to take lots of photos and ask plenty of questions. We had a wonderful dinner at the Lodge. Gina was able to reserve a table for our group which was awesome because it can get busy. Unfortunately, mother nature didn’t want to cooperate. It had been snowing most of the day and was cloudy so we did not see the Northern Lights. Honestly, the hot springs and the ice museum are the main attraction for this tour so I really wasn’t disappointed. Gina was great & explained everything to us. She really tried her best to find a location where we might have a chance to see the Northern Lights on our way back to our hotels. When going on this tour definitely don’t forget your bathing suit, towel, shower shoes, and quarters. They have towels you can rent for $5 and replace when they get wet as often as needed. Also, don’t forget to drink plenty of water before going into the hot springs.

Christopher was an exceptional guide/host. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and a just a joy to be with for the tour. The Aurora wasn't out that night but we were absolutely not disappointed in the least. The Chena Hot Spring was awesome, the ice museum was incredible and the dinner we ate was one of the very best we ate during our stay in Fairbanks. As we were returning, Chris went out of his way to show us the pipeline when we asked about it. This is a don't miss tour and for this one, even if the night is cloudy and the Aurora isn't viewable, it is still an excellent tour.
