Our foodie journey begins in the heart of Naples in Piazza Dante, where we’ll soon ease into a classic Aperitivo, just like the locals do.
From there, we’ll dive into the vibrant energy of Via dei Tribunali, the bustling artery of Naples' historic center.
First, a crispy little bite—a true Neapolitan tradition—to whet your appetite.
Next, we’ll uncover the rich history of pizza in the very city where it was born and taste an authentic masterpiece.
A selection of local charcuterie paired with a glass of wine will give us the perfect pause before indulging in our Secret Dish.
Then, it's time to experience the heart of Neapolitan home cooking with a taste of the beloved Sunday sauce that defines family meals in Naples.
No Neapolitan meal is complete without coffee! You’ll sip an authentic espresso, the Neapolitan way—don’t worry, we’ll show you how to do it right.
And finally, we’ll end on a sweet note, because no food journey through Naples is complete without a little dessert!

We continued our usual practice of doing a food tour on the first morning of a long weekend in a new city, so Annarita’s tour was a very good introduction to Naples’ food and a helpful orientation to the centre around Piazza Dante. We were staying in the Hotel Piazza Bellini so it was only a few minutes walk to the meeting point. We began with a fried appetite set, sampled a couple of very good Neapolitan pizzas, had a spritz stop, had some nice wine with charcuterie, some very tasty pasta and sauce and an educational coffee stop followed by a pastry. Annarita also presented each of us with a cornicello lucky charm which was a nice touch. The only downside was that we had to cancel our dinner reservation as we’d eaten so much. Would recommend, particularly if it’s your first time in Naples.

The food and beverages were so authentic. Rebecca did a great job explaining the history, culture and highlights of the old City we visited. Be sure not to eat beforehand, you will eat and drink for the full tour.

The entire evening was a joy! Rebecca did a fabulous job of sharing her love for her city and its food culture! All of the locations we stopped to visit were warm, welcoming, and friendly, and the food items were delicious! The shared portion sizes were great, so we weren't overly stuffed before the dessert course! Rebecca included lots of background information about Naples and Campania's food preparation that was interesting and made the experience even a little educational as well as delicious ! Great job, Rebecca and all your foodie friends in your neighborhood!

We booked the food tour as it was recommended as an essential Napoli experience and it did not disappoint. Rebecca was a great guide- offering lots of interesting information about the food, Neapolitan customs and the city generally. This is great way of finding your bearings and a nice way of sampling some of the delicious food available. I was really impressed with the quality and the amount of food that was provided- you definitely need to be hungry and you won’t need to eat for a long while afterwards! We enjoyed the Ragu from Tandem so much that we went back to the sister restaurant the next day for more! Highly recommended.

Great food, obviously, but an interesting way to experience parts of the city you might otherwise overlook, too. Rebecca was an informed and engaged guide- clearly proud of Naples and its vibrant culture.
