5.00Such a fun experience! A variety of tapas at four different locations, plus beer/wine/artisanal vermouth. Carla was a superb guide and host, filling us in on the local history and making sure that participants’ food allergies and preferences were taken into account. Had a great time with our group. Highly recommended!

5.00I joined this tour with my friend. I could get local foods in four restaurants that aren’t for tourists. My tour guide is Carla. She is kind and sociable. I could know the history around the region as well as the cuisine.

5.00We like to do a walking tour early on at a new location so that we learn where to eat to avoid the tourist traps. Trip advisor suggestions help but why not go to the locals for first hand and up to date suggestions. Carla knows the whole in the walls where the proprietors are friendly and they serve up some essential Barcelona food and beverage. She knew what places may have changed chefs and who's the real deal. Thanks to Carla I can appreciate the nuances of different vermouths and know how to drink cava like a local. Carla is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and keeps everyone engaged. No surprise that the reviews are consistently 5 stars.

5.00The tapas crawl was a history and gastronomic lesson rolled into one. Carla was lovely and knowledgeable. She encouraged us to try new foods we would never have ordered for ourselves but wasn’t pushy about it. She even helped us find a bakery where we could find our beloved meringues. Thank you Carla!

5.00We did the tapas food tour with Carla and we would recommend it to anyone! Carla was the highlight of the tour, she was engaging, knowledgeable, and delightful. All of the food and drinks were delicious and it was fun to make new friends and see more of the city. Carla left us with great recommendations for the rest of our time here so we highly recommend doing the tour early in your trip.

5.00I was in Barcelona for a work trip and figured the best way to explore the city would be through a local’s food perceptive. I was completely right! Carla led our group of 7 across 4 different spots with 3 tapas per spot. What I loved about this tour was that I would have never ordered half the things we were brought out, but I tried every single thing (including escargot and loved it!). It brought an adventurous aspect to the whole group. Also, an alcoholic drink was included at each step which I appreciated for the price point. Carla was such a great host in the ways that she brought energy, knowledge, history, and a clear love for Spain, their food, and their people. I can’t recommend enough!!!

Carla gave great information and was a fantastic guide, she really facilitated a good environment and brought us all together really well over really good food. You can see how good of a person she is with the way all of the locals speak with her and know her. 10/10.
