Al, our driver was great, very informative and professional. He was fantastic. The only negative comment I would say about the tour was the hot springs. Not something I would suggest to keep in this itinerary. The Batu Caves were absolutely impressive, a definite site to visit!!!

This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially since we had booked a group tour and paid over $300 for it. To make matters worse, the car that arrived to pick us up was in poor condition and not roadworthy. The rear seatbelts were broken and unusable. After I complained and refused to get in, the car was eventually replaced. The Batu Caves were enjoyable, and the waterfalls were nice, but the visit to the hot springs was a total letdown. Locals were washing their clothes in the springs, and I even saw a woman washing her shoes, which was both unsanitary and disgusting. The lunch, served at a small local eatery, was subpar, with limited options that didn’t cater well to vegetarians. My advice is to skip this tour altogether. Instead, consider using a Grab to get a much better experience, and you’ll save yourself both time and money. Michael Thorne

This was a great trip with a very informative driver who choose a restaurant to suit our dietary requirements. Any females going should wear clothing suitable for visiting a temple, (Batu Caves). Shoulders and knees covered or they will sell you a shawl but only take cash. Alot of steps to climb up so take some water with you. The Pewter factory was very interesting. Also the batik being hand drawn and painted. The hot springs were not as expected and rather dirty. The waterfall is beautiful but facilities are very primitive A varried and worth while trip

Our guide, Rayhan, was very knowledgeable and patient with us whether it was the climb up to Batu Cave or spending some extra time picking out a pewter tea caddy. Took us to local food court spot where the choices were extensive and food delicious. Never felt rushed and learned a lot about not only the sites, but Malaysia in general during our tour. Highly recommended.
