5.00Johnathan made us feel like family! He took us to all the major stops for shopping and sight seeing in Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)! We stopped for pictures, comfort, shopping, authentic Dominican food, and of course, the best beach!! It was a super fun time for ages 22 to 76!

5.00Jonathan from Jonathan tours picked my wife and I up at our resort. He gave us a personal tour of Puerto Plata. We went on a half day tour. We toured a rum distillery, chocolate factory, a 16th century fort and all of Puerto Plata from the beach area to up on the mountain side overlooking Puerto Plata. His English was very well spoken and his outgoing personality made us feel like we were friends, which I believe we are now. We highly recommend his tour company for a variety of different tours and excursions as he gives a personal touch to them.

Whether it was explaining the significance of a landmark or sharing a local legend, he had a way of making everything feel alive and memorable. Highlights of the City Tour Our stops included some of Puerto Plata’s most iconic attractions: The Cable Car Ride – sweeping views of the city and the ocean that felt even more special thanks to Jonathan’s insights. Fortaleza San Felipe – where he wove history with humor, making centuries-old stories feel fresh.
