Travel just 1.5 hours to the west of Sydney to experience nature on a grand scale in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Blue Mountains. Characterised by towering sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and lush valleys, this stunning area has long been a favourite destination for Sydneysiders and visitors alike. Our first stop is Sydney Zoo to see Australia’s unique native fauna, and the opportunity to feed the Kangaroos and have a photo with a Koala.
Admire panoramic views across misty blue valleys before a short lunch stop in the picturesque village of Leura. Travel along scenic Cliff Drive to reach Echo Point and the mythical Three Sisters rock formation. The afternoon is spent at Scenic World where exciting experiences await. Journey to the floor of the Jamison Valley onboard the world’s steepest railway, travel back up through the canopy on the cableway and views to Orphan Rock and the Three Sisters, and glide over the Katoomba Falls on the scenic Skyway.

Alfie was our tour guide on this day trip. He was so informative and funny. We had lots of laughs with him 🤣. I would definitely recommend this trip.

I had a good day, however, wouldn’t recommend this trip. The good thing there are only 2 pick up points. Large coach, looked great, but no legspace. Stop at the zoo was nice. The zoo is very small and we had plenty (too much) time there. Then we went to Leura for an early lunch. The restaurant probably pays the company, as according to our guide we all really should go there. Afterwards we’d finally got to the blue mountains. Although our guide said we’d have plenty of time to do all the rides it was busy and half of the group made the choice to skip one to be back on time, and then had to wait for almost 50 minutes for the rest to show up almost an hour late. It’s really a pity we had to see the blue mountains in such a hurry after a slow morning programme. Better shorten the zoo or the lunch break. I would recommend to choose a travel agency with smaller groups. Or go there by yourself, there’s also a train going there from Sydney. By the way: I really don’t like it when a guide asks for a 5 star review

This is an all day experience that encompasses a lot of the must do things of the Sydney area. Saw animals, vistas, learned and laughed all along the way. Wonderful. Our guide Alfie was cheeky fun. Would recommend.
